I'm not normally one to buy third party toys, but I did pick up a Rack-n-Ruin kit from Ebay:
The Cyberverse one just wasn't in the classic comic style that I was wanting, and this one hit all the right buttons for me. Kit includes (2) green knockoff Legends class Warpaths along with new...
I'm actually hoping it moves to streaming pretty quickly. This is a toy-centric movie, so part of the measure of it's success will be how effective it is at making kids want these toys. Movie theaters, unfortunately, are getting visited less and less for a wide variety of reasons, so it may be...
Just saw it last night. Like I said in the other TF: One thread, I really liked the balance between sticking to old lore/designs and introducing new elements or doing unexpected things with old elements. Some examples I liked:
Megatronus not being the "evil" prime (in fact, there ARE no evil...
Got to see it last night. The whole family enjoyed it and said that it was, by far, the best Transformers movie so far.
It was only us and one other family, but it was Sunday night at a small town theater that's struggling for a variety of reasons anyway, so hopefully it's been doing well...
but THAT'S just making it worse!
No, I do actually kind of like the crazy mish-mash of things that this is. Gobots Soundwave mixed with Machine Wars Soundwave with hints of Prime Soundwave. Makes me kind of want an amalgam line, kind of like the concept of Legacy, but instead of characters...
It's far from the ideal Stalker, but as something to do with my extra Tarn, I'm tempted. In fact, maybe the fact that he's so far from being a 1:1 Stalker would let it just be a new Predator character should Hasbro ever do a real one.
Toyhax's latest update has an out-of-left-field set I had never thought of, but now find myself pretty strongly considering. They've made a set of stickers to turn Cyberverse Tarn from the Multipack into Stalker:
I don't really need two Tarns, so this is pretty tempting. The only thing that...
I'm sure we'll be getting a pack like that, but I think they also tend to like having some of the "big names" in multiple price point options. A kid who really wants an Optimus Prime might not be able to talk his parents into a $50+ Leader (much less the Commander), but a Deluxe may be on the...
I know I'm not the first one to say it, but I'd think a heavy remold of Legacy Motormaster would be perfect for Thunderclash. The trailer already has the gun emplacement mode.
That was a terrible mold. I got a Blazemaster as part of that thing back in 2010 where you could send in receipts to get free extra toys. Even getting it for free, I felt I overpaid.
I've always wanted this! For the helicopter, I'd suggest a new take on Movie Blazemaster as a Decepticon news helicopter that profits off the suffering of others. If he can't find any, he makes some.
For the motorcycle, I'd say Road Pig as a police highway patrol cycle. He's already black...
