Gotta Catch 'Em All! - Pokémon Thread

Kalos is criminally underdeveloped, so as much as I was hoping/looking forward to something Gen 5 this is actually needed. Excited to see more later, and glad they look to actually be taking their time, or at least more time than usual.

I feel super weird. Doc just bought me one of my holy grails because we found it at a decent price. But like, I still feel weird cause it's more than we usually drop on a random purchase (over $50) and just the fact I'm going to have it in my hands soon is really super weird feeling. This...

You'll have to tell me if you get any and what you think. I'm a HUGE fan of the new look, but I know some old school fans think it's too sanitized/modern looking. To me this feels like we're seeing the stage between grounded/real world space sets and the original futuristic setting.

I don't usually do much with their botanicals, just not my thing, but man I was in love with this set. The shaping of the basket with the weaving and how well it rounds out is just exquisite. The number of check marks this set has for my specific Lego loves is wild. Encanto ✓ Isabela ✓...

    Lego and other brick toys

If you're in the Midwest, my local Meijer had a bunch of the March releases out and in the system available to buy, so it might be worth checking their own local Meijer if anyone's looking for anything from those releases. Saw some of the new Star Wars sets, Animal Crossing sets, Technic sets...

The concept of one of Lego's botanical flower sets opening up into Isabela's room is just *chef's kiss* Give that designer a raise Those pieces were used as eyes for a species of Bionicle monsters called Bohroks.

"I'll just buy one" the last sane word of the squish collector. I have a pile of children. Also we found the Skullgrin/Dead End 2 pack on deep discount at $7, and while Dead End is what I expected (goodish but compromised due to being a combiner limb) - I remember hearing almost nothing but...

Lol. I mean I can always just go to that restaurant again, it's only like 40 minutes away. But no, seriously, I wish I'd taken a photo. It was legitimately the best steak I've ever had in any form factor. They just stuffed, and I mean STUFFED, a tortilla with the most delicious steak I've ever...

*Lays on her back and stares at the ceiling while thinking of the quesadilla she just had* How am I ever going to eat any other steak now? I'm ruined.

Adorable. Is it meant to be a hippogriff? Speaking of adorable, Target has their own line of fairly nice plush and these little fuzzy monsters are kinda fantastic.
