I read a few articles and watched a few commentaries on YouTube about this yesterday, but I'm interested in what the long-term effects are, specifically as it relates to the Transformers franchise, obviously. Thoughts? Insights?

They really stepped it up on New Thundera. That lair made the 3E one look like a mobile home!
Since I'm fresh off the 80's series, I think its time to rewatch 2011 again.
Until I watched season two completely, it didn't dawn on me how active the ancient spirits were in fighting the Thundercats. I always wondered why the two idols that came with the tomb were so articulated. I also liked how the writers added other gods from the ancient eras into the storyline...
