Lighting. I took the photos beside an illuminated tart burner and it casts a cream color. Didn't even think about that when I took the photos. I used a cloud white female buck and black satin paint for the wrap lines. I'm also going to go down both sides of her robe and sew in wire to make it...
I have to say, after watching both series, I'm still leaning more towards the 2011 versions. Watching the original series makes me really mourn for what we lost in season 2 of the 2011 series. Still have love for the originals, but the writing and toy line quality from 2011 always blew me...
I think it's a bloodline thing, though they were all considered "nobles". Claudus was also able to use the Sword of Omens and commune with Jaga in his spirit form and none of the others were. The Thundercats are able to use the tech/weapons he gave them, but since Jaga created the sword, there...
I just finished the entire series last weekend. My wife bought me the complete series at Walmart a few months ago and I have been watching a few a day, but I finally got time to sit down and binge watch it.
The writers jumped around a bit, and I wish he had been utilized more, but Hachiman has...
I didn't take it that he has three different origins, though they did expand on him a lot in the second season. He's actually super powerful and nearly as ancient as Mum-Ra. He's one of my favorite characters from the series. He came into my life at the height of my ninja-mania and I just have...
BBTS pre-order up now. I just grabbed Mongor. He's pretty badass, and I'd spend that much or more on just the scythe for an original. Thinking of grabbing the Mum-Ra / Ma-Mutt as well.
Found it. Not what I remember it to be, and apparently the line used different scales. Damn....That's a shame Way cooler in my head than it actually looks in real life. I may pick up the 4" and the two larger mechs. They look really cool actually.
D.I.C.E. DNA
No. Those are cool, but not what I'm looking for. The larger mech he had was more humanoid and had a launching fist possibly. They looked more like Gundams.
Also, there was a team of them if I remember and each had his own mech. It's wild that there's nothing on them anywhere that I can find.
I'm trying to find the name of a toy line from the late 90's / early 2000's. The line featured 4-inch armored action figures that fit into larger 12-inch (+/-) Gundam type robots.
My son had one four-inch yellow figure and a twelve-inch robot that was -I believe- blue, red and silver. I want...
Here's a few more of Ratar-O. I used a Minimates Ratar-O and a Rancor keeper. The Rats Eyes are glow in the dark. Thinking of painting the blades G.I.T.D. blue as well.
I used the minimate's hands to hold the daggers on the back Ratar-O's belt.
Here's my version of Lynx-o. I used a Panthro head and sculpted the beard and bandanna tie with hot glue. I went with a different look for the belt area. Making the yellow more like protective padding on both sides rather than a wrap around belt.
Ratar-o is something I threw together this week.
Got my heads in. The dude sent an extra Mum-Ra head as a bonus. Here's a few photos of some before and after of Quiksilver, and Knull. Lynx--O is next!
