TBF Hasbro not attending London Toy Fair will almost not be noticed. They barely turned up regardless.

I do hope this is at least handled more sensibly than the recent Buffy move. It would be a shame to see all of IDW's books go out of print at the end of the year, and from Hasbro's point of view having critically acclaimed books like MTMTE disappear to new readers would seem crazy.

Just had Terrorsaur arrive. The box image has the wings held together by nice rivets, but the toy was downgraded to just a mushroom peg, and not a good one - it is basically impossible to transform him without both wings falling off. The sculpt looks pretty sharp, but yeah, another basic factory...

I feel like Iguanus would fit in nicely with the Speedia toys, more than it feels like a representation of the G1 character. But is a little cheap core class so that's cool. Skywarp's tuning fork/slingshot looks hilarious.

Skywarp arrived this morning. It's nice to have them all in hand, but man, that's an expensive shelf now. The purple is definitely more indigo than the solicitations though. But the black is more charcoal as it should be in hand.

Realistically, if you're pitching for the license now then you've got two plausible routes to get the license. 1) That you can toys better by reflecting the toy line better than IDW did. Not sure I see this as being likely, IDW already leant into this as much as I think it's reasonably possible...

Yeah, that exo-suit looks like a good effort (though very cheeky that the head on the box has considerably more paint and care than the head on the toy).

Given the same promo pics show Buzzworthy Cliffjumper as having clear windows I wouldn't assume the Galvatron pictures are accurate.

Black Zarak arrived this morning. He's pretty nice. No major QC issues, though his shield tabs are very tight due to the paint, and his trident doesn't hold in his hands quite as well as I thought it would. Still, he looks great in person. Wish I'd bought Grand Max when he was going dirt cheap now.

Road Ranger and Puffer make me wish they'd ever fixed the tolerances for this mold so it transformed correctly. Tigatron is nice. Might play around with the backstory to make him a pal of Nemesis Prime though, rather than the current very clunky backstory.

Being chonkier helps a bit, but he's still ultimately a pretty boring design. It's not even as interesting as G1 Inferno's transformation, and that was one of the duller ones in Diaclone.
