Remember the Gamecube? Its 20 years old now, and you won't believe what it looks like now!

Luigi busts ghosts! Pokemon lets you steal other people's monsters! Metroid becomes an FPS! Zelda gives us a surprisingly humanized version of the King of Evil. Zelda also gives us the best companion, Midna! Pikmin lets us command an army of rainbow carrots! Star Fox fights dinosaurs! Kirby...

    Toy and Action Figure Thread

It's been a while since I've gotten Jurassic Park toys. Last one may very well have been a JP3 Velociraptor, heh. Nice to have a (super-articulated!) update to him and that big electronic TLW raptor. Dunno how likely toy-based repaints are (especially since they're from a rival company now)...

    I really dont like Cyberverse

I think Cyberverse benefits immensely from being released during this particular era of Transformers. A lot of us are getting damn sick of all these tryhard grimdark low-effort-nostalgia wank-fests, so a show willing to do something ridiculous like Space Steve Irwin the Alien Hunter is...

    So long, Cyberverse. Again.

    Spider-Man: No Way Home

So like, it's a fanwankier version of Into the Spider-Verse? I dunno, after jive like Space Jam and Ready Player One and everything I'm completely sick of this sort of memberberry movie now. The actual plot idea here of Spider-Man being compelled to kill his foes because that's their fate is...

    "Vintage Beast Wars" reissue line

Charging Deluxes prices for a Basic, advertising Ultras as $40 but charging $53 instead... god knows what they're gonna ask for Scorponok there. I wonder if there are another two reissues coming out alongside this pair. First set had four, the leaked Terrorsaur/Tarantulas/K-9/Cybershark is...

Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

Gnaw makes for an awesome 'boss' to the old TR Sharkticons. I've gotten so used to the Pit of Judgement's scale that a Shark the same size as the Gator looks weird. I guess this is probably screen-accurate, but I rather liked the idea of the crocodilians being these huge bruisers and the...

    Studio Series discussion

Ratchet's Martian Rover Truck and Brawn's Li'l Drill Tank are far better than I expected from the BB Intro designs. Wheeljack's car mode is great too, but it doesn't make me think "oh I think I've seen this in a sci-fi movie". Soundwave, on the other hand, is exactly what I expected. Don't...

    Cyberverse Appreciation Thread

Nice to catch Cyberverse 'live' instead of binging the entire series after it's apparent end. While still not a favorite series or anything, it's certainly been far more entertaining than most recent TF stuff.

    Cyberverse Appreciation Thread

What little was shown seems kinda derivative. After the hugging wild unpredictable madness that was Season Three, it's a bit of a shame to see the show revisit more familiar stuff like Trypticon, Recolor Mercenaries, Dumb Dinobots/Volcanicus, and Tarn Perfect Decepticons again.

    Metroid

I am so glad I got Prime Trilogy. I've 100% the GC version several times over, but it's pretty amazing having a playthrough without the random difficulty spikes. Especially since I've always really like Echoes, and the Sanctuary Fortress level in particular.

    31 Days of Halloween (2022)

Blade trilogy Wesley Snipes, techno music, blood and gore, varying amounts of cheese, Pearl, Del Toro, Ryan Reynolds, and at least one good laugh out of me from each installment! (though I don't think "ice skating uphill" is meant as such) The three films are so different from each other it's...

    Metroid

Dread's got me in the mood to play the older Metroid games. Starting with Zero Mission naturally enough, which I ended up re-buying on the WiiU's virtual console because I can barely see what's happening on the old SP's tiny ass backlit screen (and my DSs' bumper buttons don't want to work). I...

Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see 40 years worth of Transformers!

It's a neat little thing that the Vehicons have the same bot mode and different alternate modes while the opposite is true for their guns. The Cons will have no repeats of that Smokescreen incident...

    Metroid

Just beat Dread. Exhausting definitely sums it up. Each boss required required a whole lot of pattern-reading, and it felt like every five minutes you ran into another boss. It's so satisfying to finally beat something that fills the screen with lasers, but man I just want to chill and explore...
