I really like the angled whatevers on top of the car roof, but I wish they'd beefed up or at least widened the car rear a bit since the front is so wide. Also, was it really that unfeasible to find a way to cover the front wheels in copter mode?
The new rotorsword is better than Siege's take...
Be neat if he could also double as a mini mobile launchpad/gantry thing. The new panels and such can be Weaponizer wings or shield panels (ooh, or Modulator road/bridge panels).
Make It a 2-pack with a new Scamper (Siege Sideswipe retool), or a Sixgun in matching "movie Autobot City" orange and...
Yes, that's what I meant. Not much about TLK's score stood out to me the way that (or as much as) those two pieces from Age of Extinction did, which is why I remember AOE's score more fondly than TLK's. Or at least those parts of it.
(Also, doesn't he explicitly call himself Nemesis Prime in...
Funny enough, that doesn't bother me at all. Like, it looks incongruous and weird, but not quite a dealbreaker.
The real issue to me was always the poorly wadded-up tank bits under the too-small-to-hide-them jet wings. Even TR/LG Blitzwing's "my landing gear is a tank turret stapled under the...
I'm not sure about that (few parts of TLK's score really stick out to me the way Lockdown's theme and Autobots Reunite do), but Jablonsky's work was consistently one of the things that kept me coming back to watch these.
Blitzwing does do two out of the three modes well; it's the jet mode that's the sad one. I skipped this one in favor of the Legends one (which does the modes a bit better, if not perfectly, AND comes with Big Fight).
I'm going to pick up Overcharge because I'm all about that generation of...
I just want a nice, low key live-action Transformers movie that lets Peter Cullen shine as Dad Optimus Prime while we have him.
Bumblebee felt like a breather and a good chance to recenter, even setting a good tone that future works could emulate. But then we immediately went back to epic scale...
No doubt, but you know how getting a concussion shortly after you'd just gotten one makes the damage considerably worse than it would've been by itself
Ohhh, no you don't. "It can't be any worse than Age of Extinction" is how I wound up watching "The Last Knight". ;)
Although I'm sure this would look amazing, and the toys would be excellent.
Only if it turned into a full-blown crossover, which the Joe brand sadly didn't merit then and doesn't merit now. It's the sort of thing that only works as an Easter egg, because I'd much rather have Cemetery Wind be "the machine of a vengeful government agent who now has an axe to grind" than...
This is one thing I'm not a fan of with shared universes and crossovers; they kind of operate in the opposite direction of worldbuilding because things "need" to overlap.
Transformers movie worldbuilding is a mess despite Barber's very-missed efforts, of course, but I like that KSI exists and...
It was a nice angle that worked for the show. But I did hear that a lot, mostly from people who would then claim they WANTED to like the show but somehow couldn't get past the fact that the central conflict (gasp) had been used elsewhere before. Idk if it's a media literacy issue or just a need...
Yup. Again, counterproductive.
It says a lot that those comics (and Devil's Due and IDW) have been the most consistent available/performing media for the brand since its heyday. Aside from how comics as a genre/commodity is also struggling, that suggests the brand's fortunes are tied to a...
Rather than Blitzwing having large hands as part of the aesthetic angle of his design (like this Hulk does), Blitzwing literally came with them, as in they were utterly extraneous bits one didn't want or need but had to pay for. This on top of Blitzwing himself being, let's face it, a pretty...
I feel that kind of undermines the Transformers themselves, who are supposed to be this super (well, reasonably) advanced race. I can buy into humans being able to keep up, but not the Cybertronians particularly needing their help.
Unless it's to fight another alien threat (a Cybertronian...
I think that minimizes the brand identities way too much just to make the "same coin" description work. By that token GI Joe is also He-Man, also TMNT, and also Silverhawks. Coffee is also "almost" water, except it "just" has extract from ground coffee beans in it.
The "military dudes" and...
