Buzzworthy Bumblebee - the "everything goes" toyline

Wow, Zac, sorry to hear about your heart episode; that sounds scary. Hope you are feeling better though and I wish you a smooth recovery. I originally wasn't going to get this set, but Goldbug and Ransack have sold me on it.

I actually think that the Counterpunch mold would work a little better :giggle:.

Wow, this is just...bad. Isn't Studio Series supposed to be like, a little bit better than the average-release figure? For all of TR Wheelie's issues staying together, I think he's still the better representation. This version also fails my "are the hands sticking out of the back of the...

That's okay, a 3rd party company will release a "gap filler" kit that will cost just as much as this Wheelie sells for.

Windcharger. I left Windcharger off of my previous "want" list. I was messing around with the RtS Windcharger (who is really cool still, but not quite the representation that I want) the other day, and it really made me want a modern, more G1y update. I know that the PotP Windcharger was...

I would love to get Kranix and Arbalus in any class, honestly. But yeah, Core Class would probably make the most sense. I'd love it if we could get some of the peripheral characters from the comics and shows made into toys (Kremzeek, Primacron, etc.). I also would not be mad if they made more...

    Any point in keeping packaging?

Yep, pretty much all I keep these days are G1 (rare that I acquire though), MP and anything that I deem special or outside of the norm, like Haslab, foreign release stuff, etc. I used to keep everything until that just got silly, spacewise.

He's gotta come with the Key to Vector Sigma and Diagnostic Drone, right?

I've been thinking about that too. I feel like to do BW Rampage justice with a modern update, they'd probably want to look into Commander Class. Or they could perhaps use the Titan Class pricing structure to do something like a Rampage / Depth Charge set.

I ordered Jhiaxus from Amazon as well and he should be here next week. He's at the top of my most-anticipated Transformers list this year. I've been waiting a long, long time for a toy that delivers on his G2 comic book look, and this one seems to just knock it out of the park.

Well, got an email from Amazon stating that there was a delay in shipping Sludge. New ETA: Friday, July 29th. I'm really looking forward to him but since I've gotten quite a few new Transformers for myself of late, I can wait.

^Ooh...Cybertron Sideways / Noisemaze would be great to update. He's still an awesome figure but I can imagine how cool he'd look with modern engineering. Also liked for BW Quickstrike - they've gotta give him and Rampage the update treatment as well.

Yeah, I have had a slate of random stuff from Amazon recently. Got Classified Spirit last week (Storm Shadow, who I ordered along with him, is still listed as an October release). SS86 Sludge is supposed to be in on Friday. Who knows?

I made a mistake and what I meant to type was Cybertron Downshift (corrected on original post). Downshift's headsculpt was always a flavor of G1 Wheeljack, yes. What I love the most though is the boxy, 70s police car-meets-muscle car look of his alt mode. What I'd like is an update that...

    Legacy Line Wish List

An updated Cybertron Downshift would be welcome. I'll also 2nd and 3rd a request for another pass at Beast Machines Megatron. Finally, (and as someone who really, really liked the TR/LG versions), I'd like a larger, more involved Overlord. Make him Commander Class if necessary.

Inferno looks incredible, they did a great job on him. I'm confused about Armada Starscream though. Maybe I need to have a closer, more detailed look, but it seems like he's just the T30 mold upsized with a few new accessories.

I think that you're referring to symmetry. If so, yes, I think that is something that designers generally try to keep in mind. But, aside from the lion head-as-shoulder-pauldron, his robot mode is fairly balanced.

That is some interesting behind-the-scenes information on Cosmos' design/creation, thanks for sharing. Nice as it is to learn "how the sausage is made" though, I share G.B. Blackrock's and other's sentiments about his UFO mode looking off. I realize that a flying saucer is kind of a goofy...

Agreed. Brussels sprouts have become one of my favorite vegetables, especially when they have been seasoned and pan seared or oven roasted. Speaking of searing and roasting, Artfire arrived from Pulse today and he is glorious! Glad I decided to treat myself during their Power Days sale.
