At the time SG Galvatron came out, the only Galvatron figures were the original G1 toy and the Universe Galvatron; nobody would have wanted another redeco of the Universe figure. The next best figure would have been Energon Megatron, and they had already used that for SG Megatron.

This. SG Galvatron is a typical Galvatron deco on an atypical Galvatron figure. If Hasbro chooses to revisit SG Galvatron, the only likely surprise will be the mold they use. On other figures, they've stayed pretty faithful to established SG decos, but there's no rule that says they always will...

Ladies night. Realized I didn't find Slipstream, Strongarm, and Windblade, and didn't grab Clobber before I took these, but I wanted to show off Minerva, Earthspark Elita-1, and Crasher (again), among others.

There was a G1 Fallen figure in the Titanium line. Even had panels with flame decos on them to simulate his being on fire.

Um, yeah, Aquasharks. The raiders were the ones that came after with the stingray baddies. Aquanauts and Aquasharks were way better!

The thing to keep in mind with SG is that it is extremely unlikely Hasbro will make a new mold for an SG release. Maybe they would debut a mold, but probably not develop a new one. With that in mind, you have to ask yourself, what molds are currently (last 2-3ish years) available, or...
