    Show Ideas!

On the one hand, the Allspark is a part of the expanded Transformers mythology (though it's portrayal gets a bit jumbled between continuities), so I guess it helps elevate the story beyond "these robots based on toys show up and then they fight". On the other hand, every story being some huge...

Mayhem Transformers Discussion: United We Shelfwarm

Or an in-depth bio. But, if one of these new Junkions has an extra noggin hidden among their parts, then I'd say there's probably meant to be a combiner, though. That leg configuration is pretty convincing, but a combiner head would seal the deal.

    Show Ideas!

You know what? Bring back the battle for energy. Both sides need it, the Decepticons (or Predacons) will go to any lengths to get it in any form, no matter how harmful, the Autobots (or Maximals) try to be more ethical about it, but they still need lots of it to survive. It's still a relevant...

Does anyone have any idea of when it is most likely we will find out who the new Transformers comic publisher and why it has not happened yet?

I think the very issue is that the Beast Wars is specifically the battle that happens on earth. There's no guarantee that any other group of Maximals or Predacons from that era would have scanned Beast modes (and, in fact, one group on another world scanned plants), and without that, the whole...

    Tightening The Belt At Hasbro

See, this is how I view the Masterpiece figures, but not necessarily the entirety of the hobby. That said, if there was more support and variety in the Core-class figures, I would probably not buy as many Deluxe and larger figures as I currently do. It's those characters that don't get made in...

Got my order in also. Thanks for the tip! Hopefully there are no issues.

    Tightening The Belt At Hasbro

I would probably not be sad if Hasbro licensed a GI Joe 3-3/4" line out to Spin Master. Their DC line is decent at a reasonable price.

G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

Nice pics of your Skystriker! On the topic of what direction Joe should take, I guess I fall somewhere between the hard military and crazy sci-fi camps. The original 12" Joes started out as a pure military toyline, but the 'modern' 3-3/4 line was never pure military; the Joes had a laser...

    Titans Return Appreciation Thread

I mean, Megatron and Galvatron are both second-rate punks compared to the evil genius that is Cy-Kill, so the real question is why we never got a Titans Return Cy-Kill (with Braxis Titanmaster).

Am I the only one who liked Revenge of the Fallen and the Twins?

I was not fond of their portrayal in RotF, but their Ice Cream truck figure is one of my favorites from the line.

Welcome to the sickness! 😁 I need to get the Bond and F&F cars, myself. Was hoping to pick up the new Galaxy Explorer when they went on markdown, but they went up after Christmas! 😰😨😱

Does anyone have any idea of when it is most likely we will find out who the new Transformers comic publisher and why it has not happened yet?

Brian Clevinger. He has a great sense of humor, and a pretty deep understanding of a lot of sci-fi genres. And he's proven to be good at writing about robots punching things...

Does anyone have any idea of when it is most likely we will find out who the new Transformers comic publisher and why it has not happened yet?

The knowledge bit could easily be explained by a read through the wiki. Even someone who was born much after the fact could gain extensive knowledge about G1/G2/etc by obsessively reading the wiki. And their phrasing of things makes me think english is not their first language. Im not saying...

Why was there a lack of fanfare for the 20th anniversary of a Beast Wars and could have this have caused Primal to win the prime fan vote?

Well, yes, of the figures i mentioned, only the CW Magnus existed at the time of the fan vote. But the point was, we got 2 (maybe 3) Magnuses since then (plus the CW one that did exist). And that's not counting all the white Prime redecos that preceeded it (FoC and Classics come to mind as major...

Why was there a lack of fanfare for the 20th anniversary of a Beast Wars and could have this have caused Primal to win the prime fan vote?

Honestly? I think anyone who voted for Ultra Magnus wasted their vote. There is a short list of characters who will 'always' have a figure in the works. ('Always' being a bit hyperbole, but not far off the mark) If there is an opportunity for a fan vote for a figure, voting for an upper tier...

Why was there a lack of fanfare for the 20th anniversary of a Beast Wars and could have this have caused Primal to win the prime fan vote?

We could make some educated guesses: most fans who would participate in these polls are savvy enough to realize that Megatron and Ultra Magnus are high enough tier characters that they will get a new figure sometime in the near future. Why waste a vote on them? This leaves it as a choice...
