  1. Thundercats - General Discussion (and some Silverhawks too, whynot)

Wave 5 of SilverHawks ULTIMATES are going up for PreOrder. It's just Copper Kidd and his Space Racer vehicle. If you order both from Super7, they'll include a bonus accessory and "winking" head sculpt for Copper Kidd. I'm torn on committing $205 for both (still got to worry about Omega...
  2. Generations Selects Appreciation Thread

Hasbro IS rerunning the older Dinobots, besides Grimlock getting new deco versions.
  3. Transformers Legacy toyline

IIRC, Origins Wheeljack is still a Target exclusive. Target just pushed Hasbro to release him under the Legacy banner instead of Buzzworthy (maybe that initiative is winding down?). It's like how Red Cog was a Target exclusive, despite main line packaging.
  4. Transformers Legacy toyline

Tempted by Grimlock. I'm a sucker for Grim, and the shading effects are pretty well done, compared to Shockwave. That said, Shockwave is tempting just based on the pure iconography of that cover (even beyond the Transformers fandom), and shows how nice a G1 Optimus with yellow eyes can look...
  5. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

So…if anyone is interested…you can get Snake Eyes Origin Classified Akiko from Amazon for $3.50, if you’re a Prime member.
  6. Sonic The Hedgehog

Sonic The Hedgehog 3 was released 30 years ago…yesterday. If you have memories of playing it when it was new…then you be OLD.
  7. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

Great reveals yesterday, even if there isn’t much for me to say about each figure on their own merits (Hasbro does good work, there is some light modernization, but Pretty retro). I’m a sucker for Tiger Force, so those are a given. Probably see how much I can get for my Heavy Assault Roadblock...
  8. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

The big issue I see was that, if Hasbro were to “scale” these guys closer to the broader Legacy line…then people would complain they were not “impressive enough” for a HasLab offering. Wouldn’t matter what modifications or improvements Hasbro would have made, the overall message that would...
  9. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Eh, it was one of those recent Leaders :p But I think my point stands: Hasbro probably would have made a “good enough” Deathsaurus even if a retool. Just like I think Legacy Skyquake/Dreadwing have the potential to give us “good enough” iterations of King Atlas, Machine Wars Starscream or G1...
  10. Traitor Watch - The 45 & 47 Thread

I’m still rolling the dice on him dying from his health style and stress (maybe even suicide) before he spends a day in prison. I think it’s still up in the air if he’ll even survive through the Insurrection prosecution, given how long he and his lawyers are dragging it out.
  11. 40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

Here’s my view on Haslab: I sincerely believe that Hasbro should be saving the initiative for stuff that are TRULY not viable at the mass market. Granted, that limit is pretty darn fine when it comes to Transformers. Deathsaurus was REALLY toeing that line, as I think they could have made a...
  12. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

They left ample teases for a third season. It will all depend on the streaming numbers. I don’t think anything produced anymore is without its share of “bitching”. It will just depend on if people are bothering to watch it. And I liked it! The biggest change for the better WAS halving the...

*Spongebob meme* A COUPLE ‘OURS LAY-TER… Vince McMahon has “resigned” from all positions within TKO Holdings. https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2024/1/26/24052356/vince-mcmahon-resigns-tko-wwe
  14. Random Thoughts From Out of Nowhere

I don’t know how to feel about this: The hospital I work at uses KnowBe4, a cyber security training company. Part of that includes being able to post “vigilance” posters offered by them. And let’s just say, some MAJOR nerds work there. One that got posted this week in the elevator? It was a...
  15. Generations Selects Appreciation Thread

News got posted over at the Legacy thread, but JtPrime posted a new retail listing for new Selects/Retail Exclusives: Target is getting a themed retailer exclusive Optimus Prime (Laser) with ER trailer and Bullseye (Ravage repaint), along with another 86 movie death pack (Ratchet and Brawn). One...
  16. Transformers Legacy toyline

Might be an issue where just the individual figure assortments did poorly, but the sets might have done better? To be fair, we DO need deluxe Seaspray and Powerglide first… I’m still surprised we’ve yet to see Hasbro leverage retro packaging akin to what they did with the Headmasters (old...
  17. Generations Selects Appreciation Thread

To be fair, with some of the recent multipacks, they HAVE been including those alternate parts...so it's not out of line to think that possibility
  18. Studio Series discussion

I seem to recall issues years back where people tried to associate to each 07-series by number...but since NONE of the films used numerals and nobody could remember which came when...we all settled on abbreviations of the titles rather than by the numeric sequence.
  19. Generations Selects Appreciation Thread

The lighting in those pics is WAY blown out, too. There were a couple other pic at TFW in more natural lighting which shows Trailbreaker seems to have a charcoal color, closer to the animation model. Wheels are cast in the same color, but if you have DK Breaker, you could swap the wheels. And...
  20. Studio Series discussion

Beast Machines is marginalized enough, you guys aren't taking away its initialism! FWIW, Primalxconvoy, the retail listings say MV6 (Bumblebee) Sunstreaker, not "Gamer" or "HM (High Moon)". My feeling is that there were a number of 84-86 characters conceptualized for the Cybertron sequences...
