I think you may be SOL. Superglue is (by nature) pretty unforgiving and anything that might remove it will almost certainly damage the plastic underneath. Just say it's battle damage and call it a day.
Nice to see her converted properly. Probably one of the best uses of uncovered fists in an altmode too as they make a convincing tail light.
Also, hopefully the real figure's wheel actually rotates up like the CAD's.
I will say - I know white over red paint seldom works but because they...
Yeah, I grabbed him on markdown and he's not bad. My main complaint is there's nothing to hide or otherwise close off the massive empty torso cavity. Thanks to the big windows, in bot mode you can just see right through him.
Likeness issues are so weird. I guess it is up to the actor for the specific property? For example Carl Weathers allowed NECA to make an Apollo Creed figure, but wouldn't allow them to make a Dillon figure for their Predator line (and obviously Hasbro has used his likeness for his Star Wars...
Seiberteon had pics of Wheeljack with his goggles removed. Clearly not meant to be considering the hole they leave, but seems like an enterprising printer could design a "battle mask" with ears to plug in in their place.
It's a shame we can never find out production numbers. The fact that he hasn't (to my knowledge) gotten offloaded to Ollies or wherever at fifty percent off seems pretty good, but we don't know if they've cut back the numbers after the last few Titans.
I'm sure this is the case. It's a little odd but looking at all three molds, the consistency appears to be the wheels, upper arms and fists (as well as maybe some connector pieces like at the shoulders/hips).
I was going to say - as much as I hate the snap on hubs like this mold uses for its front wheels, it'd be nice if they used them at the rear as well as a swap would be easier. And if anything, the red wheels would be a fun homage to IDW Skids.
Yeah - I like the red wheels, but they do need some contrast. Either the main part of the wheel (the rear here) or a beauty ring (the front wheel) in the silver. The beauty ring would be the easiest to do with a sticker probably.
At the risk of going all pop-psych - when something interferes with your quality of life, it's officially a problem. You're making the healthy choice if collecting has begun to feel like a burden. It's ok to be sad about cutting back, but it seems like you're also making the right call.
