Saw eps here and there of the older series, think we started really watching it since Diamond/Pearl? I highly recommend Sun/Moon. It's when they shook up the style for a cuter look and looser animation. This series did a nice job of having fun chars while tying in the main notes of the games...

Honestly, I've hoping for new protags for awhile. There's probably still gonna be guest appearances and such, but we're long overdue for changes to the anime series. Sun and Moon was a nice change but it'll be good to start fresh.

TMM & I just watched this. It was... Well. Things Happened. Some blatant Mario product tie ins. And once again, Mario doesn't get the girl. At least the live action movie was stupid fun.

The world was still horrible when we were kids back then, we were just sheltered from it a lot. I def prefer being able to do my own thing even if I have to deal with adulting over being totally dependent on my parents.

Yeah, I get enough points to renew for free, we usually use the monthly $5 coupon and occasionally get a good discount from accumulated points. I miss when the rewards program had really good stuff, like raffles for trips.

Got a small colorful Zebra and a medium purple lantern fish for the dog, but she doesn't seem to care for them much. TMM thinks she likes mine b/c they smell like me. Might have to test that out later. Spotted this teal-ish fluffy dragon recently. Why do they keep making ones I can't resist? 😅

Beat the game! I quite enjoyed the story and lack of a mustache-twirling villain. When the credits started, I had to put my Switch in Sleep Mode for a bit. When I came back to it, the credits were already at the end! What the heck? Annoyed that it didn't actually pause them, but I'm sure I can...

Eh, I'd rather be surprised. It does let you use your own items in between fights, and there's a free heal before the champ.

Thoughts on becoming Champion: Oh, and Tyranitar and Salamance are currently appearing at a higher rate in 4 or 5 star raids until 12/11/22, 3:59pm PST. Haven't seen any yet on my end.
