But they can justify the protest thing by the protest interfering with vehicle or pedestrian traffic and such(even if such possibilities aren't likely, they are, in a weaselly way justifiable). Not sure how you can claim such things for freedom of speech/press are concerned, especially when you...
Indeed it is. They haven't had time to re-establish import/export procedures or make proper trade deals with other nations. They(The UK Government) haven't had to deal with any of that stuff since they joined the EU and kinda forgot how it all works....
How is that NOT a violation of free speech? Thankfully I don't live in Florida and have no intentions of visiting it, so I can publish whatever I want, paid or not, about the Fascist in Chief of Florida and his top crony, as long as it's true.
I seem to remember that there was a study that revealed that the position of CEO could largely be automated away. Maybe that's why he's scared of AI all of a sudden.
We know gravity exists the same as we know evolution exist, do to actual observation. What we know with more certainty is how evolution actually works mechanically(microbes and insects are good test cases). Gravity is a bit harder to crack... Is it caused by warped spacetime as Einstein...
Tad hypocritical of him given how his 'autopilot' works. Frankly "I don't see AI helping us make cars any time soon, At that point ... there's no point in any of us working." SHOULD be the goal of automation. Allow people to follow their passions instead of forcing them to do a job they hate...
It's a shame, really. AI could improve our lives in amazing ways. Heck, it's already helping improve pathology, but someone who is willing to steal data to improve their AI models would also likely be willing to use said AI to do various other unethical things in the future.
I think it's even funnier that he asked the BLM and the Forestry Service said question. Not sure either of those two administrations have many astrophysicists or astronomeers employed.
Trying to figure out HOW moving the moon would combat climate change. I'm assuming he's talking about lowering it's orbit so the moon blocks more sunlight, of course it would also increase tidal forces on earth resulting in an increase in earthquakes and extreme weather... Not even going into...
Actually, that would make things worse, especially in gerrymandered red states. The blue areas of those states would essentially have no representation. There's no need for all the representatives to be in the same room anymore outside of tradition. Heck, there really hasn't been since the...
Heads up, Season 13 episodes are going into the MST3K PlutoTV channel starting March 1st for those who don't have access to them on the Gizmoplex. It's a strong season, easily beats 11 and 12(Netflix era) and holds it's own against much of the Comedy Central and SciFi era as well.
As much as I LOVED Ultima Online around the turn of the 21st century, it has NOT aged well, so I feel you there.(I still feel it has its strong points, but mechanically.... NO. It simply FEELS wrong these days)
I'm sure there are people in Israel who happen to be in a position of power who would do that, but that's pretty much true of any random selection of any population, unfortunately. Tliab has some questionable views and wouldn't be my choice for congress(Though if she were on the ticket here...
Might not get much traction in the house period. It reduces the power held by individual representatives, after all. I'm sure there's a few dems in the house who don't want that.
