If that is the response they gave you…it’s just the usual stock response whenever anyone asks about a future product from Hasbro. The usual “corporate speak” is to feign ignorance until something is officially revealed.
As is, I think the line has run longer than I gave it credit for, and I’d...
At this point, given the new direction at DC Media under James Gunn and the lack of any announcement...
I think Young Justice is done. As is, it was pretty damned astounding that the show was revived to begin with. Such things are EXTREMELY rare in television, especially after the 5 year gap...
I think there should be two different threads. One for the film, one for the toys, since I think it IS possible to discuss the toy line without directly addressing the film itself.
LEAKS! For 2024 (Sub-Lined Universe?), JtPrime has posted some Core and deluxe figures to get us a riled up. And does the shorthand name indicate….Rock Lords...
JtPrime has posted more final details on upcoming Generations Selects:
Obviously, Magnificus and Omega Sentinel are out or about to be. For the remaining 3 Selects-
Triggercon Windsweeper- Guaranteed to be a retool of Needlenose. I’m tempted just for the late G1 representation.
Predacon...
That’s the nice things this time around: most of the characters will have Core and Studio Series options by the end of the year. Though, I thought I read that the RotB Studio Series Optimus Prime (supposedly a retool of SS38) was slated for a Target exclusive.
JtPrime has posted new updates...
An interesting tidbit from the Fan Call: the usual guys we see on the Fan Streams do NOT have any involvement with the development of the kids lines. It’s an entirely separate team to which so much fandom ire is directed! I get an image in my head of the Collector guys at the Hasbro brands...
And lo, Hasbro described Siege as being based on More Than Meets The Eye episodes, but after 5 years, we'll have...TWO figures referencing the designs from the episodes. Both retailer exclusive, even!
With Rise of the Beasts, Hasbro has assortments called "Core Deluxe" and "Core Voyager". They are "traditional" Transformers toys marketed under the Rise of the Beasts banner. Think Cyberverse or Earthspark Deluxe figures, but now with a Voyager sized assortment.
Beast Changer Rhinox is sized like a Core Class figure, but not part of the Core Line
TF7 Core Rhinox is Voyager class, and so is the Studio Series Rhinox.
Studio Series Arcee is Core Class, but not part of the TF7 Core line.
Optimus Primal has TF7 Core Voyager class figure planned, but his...
Most of the production/writing crew from Beast Wars contributed to GI Joe Extreme as well. I also generally liked the episodes I saw as well. Although, the live action segments haven’t aged very well.
As I’ve read and researched that era of Kenner/Hasbro…I’ve gained a mild appreciation for...
Aren’t they in two different lines on different release schedules?
The case pack outs for the leader STILL don’t make a lick of sense. I mean, I get giving time for Skyquake to sell down before rolling out his retool, but…
Couldn’t Hasbro have simply rolled the Refresh of Laser Prime into...
In the show and comics, Snow Job routinely was depicted without his hood/cap. Like how in the cartoon, Wetsuit was often seen without his scuba helmet.
Torpedo didn’t get a “non geared” head, so I concerned that would follow to Snow Job and possibly Wetsuit. The appearance of a “casual” head...
