I was more into super robots before getting back into transformers after high school. Most of those guys have had zero fiction since decades before I was born, so I'm no stranger to just buying cool robots. In fact, being able to turn into vehicles that aren't flying pants or fists on wheels are...
Crap, that's a lot more complex than I expected. It's still very impressive but I'd have to think hard about doing that at roughly Earthrise/Stege Optimus size.
I admire these guys though. No shitty teasers, no silhouettes. Just drops images then full product walkthrough the next day. Total...
Non-potato pics might clear things up a little. The chest appears to be part of the actual windshield. No idea how the shoulders work since it’s so damn clean in the respective area of the truck. abs are fake parts except there’s a prominent split in the middle of it
That's a slightly messy truck mode but otherwise, I'm impressed. It's not arbitrarily huge or small and the transformation appears to be relatively in control. Sculpting is a bit amateurish though.
Good guys have red frowny face. Bad guys have pointy purple face. We get some exceptions here and there but that’s why they’re exceptions.
GI Joe has dozens of problems but the good guys vs bad guys premise isn’t one of them.
Maybe i just dislike the injection of divinity and mythology in a simple war between factions, pretty much GI Joe but robots. I guess they can’t do too much damage if the only fiction they’re likely to get is a blurb and some boxart lol
That’s not a terrible price all thing considered. Make sure that the chrome’s intact. The gold chest chrome apparently flakes off on some copies though I’m not sure if there’s a way to find out which units have that problem.
KFC also made a set that strengthened Star Saber’s ratchets to...
Which one? The one the space monkey built, the Galactus ripoff, the Earth, the one Shockwave built or the Earth again? Could also be all of those at once.
They’ve messed up Unicron’s backstory that it’s not a big deal and he interacts with modern TFs often enough that i wouldn’t think anyone...
What an ill-advised decision. Putting aside the designs not being anything to write home about and the propensity for cybertronian modes to devolve into roboyoga, it kinda cheapens their presence. They kinda work as these vague unknowable beings that set the stage for lore instead of making it...
