In essence (but not in total alignment with every detail), the Transformers: Battlegrounds game gives an idea of what the war on Earth between Seasons 1 and 2 of Cyberverse was like, as the show itself wasn't interested in retreading old G1 ground (because the "Autobot/Decepticon war on Earth"...
Cyberverse did do the "millions of years in stasis" thing. In that show, the Ark crash-landed on Earth a whopping 65 million years ago instead of just 4 million.
When I watched it, I had the subtitles turned on.
Though, funnily enough, Netflix's subs consistently misspelled "Zentinels" as "Zentinals" with an A instead of an E. That's a whoops on their part.
"Zentinels". It's the word "sentinel" with a Z.
"Squidrills". Cuz they're drills.
"Talon" was the original production name for Zenowing, so it was a misleading name given in the morpher toy.
