He was gray, blue, yellow, and a bit of red, and the motorcycle he rode (his implied altmode was a car, based on his chest having the hood and headlights) was colored red, white, black, and a bit of yellow and silver.
Yeah, both that and the JAFCON-exclusive black-colored 1984 Optimus were 21st-century releases. Onyx Primal was the first black Optimus of them all.

Yeah, it never made sense to me how the 2007 movie line's Automorph gimmick crept into several of the early-wave Animated molds. If anything, that gimmick severely weakened almost all of those molds.
