I think I may have just cracked the code on why the next year's Legacy line is to be subtitled "Evolution".
In Armada, what we knew in the English version as "Powerlinx", (the process of a Mini-Con attaching to and upgrading its larger partner) was instead called "Evolution" in the Japanese...
The 2pm panel was the Nacelle w/ Riot Press & The Last of the Seekers panel. This was another product reveal panel, but for these specific companies. As they were something not really related to Transformers (as in, not even third party products), I decided to pass on sticking around for this...
Saturday began with the dealer room opening at 9am to registered attendees (general admission attendees were allowed in at 10am). 9am was also another Frank Welker autograph session, which I continued to skip (again, too rich for my blood).
I did, however, take the opportunity to talk to Simon...
Friday began at 10am when the dealer room opened up to all registered attendees, while General Admission opened up later at 11:30am. On this day, I made the old-school bad decision of spending most of my money on the first day of the dealer room, so had to be very careful with my toy-spending...
BotCon 2022 report

I'm reminded of all the cartoon vs. comics feuds that were said to have happened in...
I guess it simply boils down to the differences between alternate timelines and alternate universes. "Rhythms of Darkness" was an alternate timeline whose Unicron was still some version of the main Marvel G1 Unicron. The Dreamwave Armada comics, however, were a completely alternate universe...
It all came from Simon Furman not wanting Armada Unicron to be a separate guy from the G1 Unicron he wrote back in the Marvel Comics. It was his idea for there to be only one Unicron in all realities, which was then extended to Primus and the Thirteen by both him and Forrest Lee.
Just to be clear, the robot head on my Override does snap into position when facing forward. I suspect that all copies are supposed to do that. But mine does it while also tilting slightly to the right, a tilt that it cannot stop doing, which strikes me as something it probably shouldn't be doing.
