I should have specified TM2 Cybershark, heh. But yeah, for all those valid flaws I am oddly fond of that color scheme. Green, blue, silver, orange highlights, and that green face... It shouldn't work, and doesn't, but I like it and figure some changes in color distribution would go a long way...

I don't disagree with any of that, but I do think mountains have been made out of molehills (well, molehills that could have been... Phrased better?) for some of it. And I'll leave it at that. It's entirely your right to read it that way, and the idea of letting things be available to later...

Yeah, a good few updates are well worth seeing. Override was a low bar to clear, though. But I'm only holding back on Hot Shot and Starscream to wait for redecos I like better, which is tough because the molds look so fun. I'd like to say the same for Animated Bee, but I'm passing on that mold...

He already looks very hollow in that robot mode picture. Like not even the best foot forward marketing render could hide it. Nevertheless, he seems substantial and better-executed than the T30. I hope this one gets a Cybershark redeco... As one of the four people who preferred that look.

I can picture this happening, but I think it's far more likely that they had Optimus in mind from the get-go. Especially since he was going to be front and center for Aligned and particularly Prime, the show that would supposedly explore "what it means to be a Prime".

I think the slow burn might have worked if there was at least some clear progression. (Also what I'd envisioned isn't THAT slow a burn, just not wrapping everything up neatly by the end of FFOD.) As opposed to the Aesop Amnesia that seemed to plague S3 as written. But then again, this was on...
