Well, from the Stallone library...

I own:
Complete Rocky/Creed series, complete Rambo series, complete Expendable series. I'm pretty sure he's in one or two of the Guardians of the Galaxy films I have.

I also rented Judge Dredd once. I've also seen "Stop or My Mom Will Shoot," but I think my parents owned that one, not me. I don't think I've seen Demolition Man. Isn't that the one with Wesley Sniipes?

Anyway, my ratings for Stallone series (one off movies can't really count since it's been a while since I've seen them...

Rambo:
First one was the best. The others were good if all you wanted was blood, guns and explosives. But the first one had the most character moments and drama. Probably my favorite of the Stallone series.

Rocky:
Again, first one was the best as far as character drama vs sports underdog movie. It didn't really fall off for me until four. But when it fell off, it fell off hard. 4 is watchable if a bit more campy because of that damn robot. 5 was just bad. Rocky Balboa was a good ending for the series. So, second favorite series.

Expendables:
This is kind of half and half. Like we discussed, the first two were awesome. The the was okay, but started lacking what made the first two great. The third one just kind of fizzled. But boy oh boy, those first two are just crazy and I loved every minute of them. Third favorite

Creed:
It's not that the Creed series was bad in any kind of way. But to me, spin-offs rarely ever live up to the original. And for personal reasons, the first one just really hit me hard in the gut. The second one was probably my favorite, especially because of Dolph Lundgren. Yeah, Rocky 4 wasn't my favorite, but the whole Creed/Drago part keeps me from completely hating it. The third Creed movie...I mean...it was just okay. Getting rid of Rocky completely kinda killed it for me though.

Do yourself a favor and find a copy of Demolition Man and watch it. Remember it was made in the early 90s.
It has Wesley Snipes, and also Sandra Bullock, and Denis Leary, among others.
It's a great watch, well worth it.

Ah, the 3 shells. The ones that nobody understands by definition. :) Snipes is just having a blast in the film.

I think I’ve only see Stop or My Mom Will Shoot once. And that was a really long time ago. I’ve never seen a Rocky film and only ever watched Rambo…4 I think?

I did go and see Judge Dredd at the cinema when it came out. It’s a fun romp and really revels in the 2000AD visuals. But Karl Urban is just a definitively better Dredd. And yeah, Stallone is in Guardians 2 and 3.

I know I've seen Stop or My Mom Will Shoot at least once. It might've even been in the theater. I saw Judge Dredd once. Yes, the remake was better.

I absolutely suggest watching the first Rocky and Rambo movies. They truly aren't what you might expect.

Like Rambo II through the end are definitely what you'd expect from the name Rambo (all about the action). But the first one really took me by surprise.

Rocky is kind of a mixed bag between what's really good and what's kinda meh. But I'd definitely recommend the first one and then moving on from there...maybe skip the fifth one and go straight to Rocky Balboa.

There’s SIX Rocky films? Not counting the Creed films. I mean, I thought Rocky Balboa was just Rocky IV.

Huh.

There were originally V. V is easily skippable. Then later Stallone came back and did Rockey Balboa. No number in the name, but technically the sixth one.

but yeah, between Rocky, Creed and Expendables, I went through a hell of a marathon.

Watching Demolition Man now. I don't want to give any final grades until I'm done watching. But one thing I must say now, this positive feeling, goody goody utopian society makes me want to vomit. I've seen My Little Pony episodes less touchy feely.

EDIT:
Well that was pure cheese. I don't know weather it was a good cheese or a bad cheese, but it was definitely cheese.

And you know, it just occured to me that the only other role I've seen Wesley Snipes in was Blade...and Expendables 3. This was different.

They really did build the most ridiculously ’perfect’ Utopia that could ever exist. It is painfully happy. :) I agree it is just pure unashamed cheese. Though how much of that was on purpose, or simply a happy accident. Who knows. It is the definition of a ‘fast food’ movie.

Yeah, Snipes here is unlike most of his other roles. Another good role of his is in Rising Sun. With Sean Connery.

He IS Blade though.
