It happens a lot with Deadpool and the Detective Pikachu movie.
thought about picking up the dvd today to save 20 bucks over the bluray, but in the end I didn't. I can wait a few weeks until all the overstock is put on for 15

Finally saw this on New Year's Day.
I dunno, something about it seemed fitting.
It was supposed to be on New Year's Eve, which was arguably even more fitting, but something came up and that didn't go off as planned.
Anyway, absolutely loved it.
And I forget how many times I've played back that opening credits scene on YouTube by now, but the song is stuck in my head.
I agree that the plot is nothing spectacular, but everything else more than makes up for it by carrying the film high atop its shoulders.
Also. I can't get enough of Deadpool literally digging up the corpse of Wolverine, and then using it to fight off all those TVA guys. Masterful.
