Well, I just finished all the Alexander sidequests. Funny what you'll do for Moogle tomes. And hey! I also got the Alexander minion. Yay!

Agreed, that IS a good song. And a helluva bop to fight too.

Alexander: If i’m gonna kill this lot. I’m gonna do it in style!

A to the L to EX ander!

EDIT: This boss battle takes place in Alex while fighting him. And its a time paradox?

The whole raid series takes place inside the main Alexander robot, which is big enough to carry a city full of goblins. Since they keep using its time powers to reset any attempts to disable it, and fighting something that big on foot would be basically impossible, the party has to venture inside to fight Alexander Prime, the primal (summoned spirit) that powers it. And then during the fight, Alexander Prime will summon the main robot inside itself to use its Divine Judgement ultimate attack.

Also the entire story is a time loop inside a time loop. And then there's another time loop during the final fight used as a DPS check (if you fail the check, the party gets annihilated by a temporal paradox, because you didn't save yourself from getting killed before starting the fight).

It's a reality-warping time god, it's best not to ask too many questions.

It does have two dye channels, and little wings that are part of the shirt. The second dye channel on the gloves is for the nails/claws, which have a design on them:

Whatever second color you put on the shirt goes to the panel on the upper back and the tie, but the tie fades towards a lighter shade regardless of the base dye:

I did the mission on all six of my characters. There's a slight difference if a character did a previous event (the quest-giver and Papa Gruff recognize you), but no dialogue that changes if you've gotten through the post-Endwalker Void plotline.

Nice. I'm actually good with black/purple, especially for Halloween. But options are always nice.

It's fun watching the old Extreme bosses dissolve. The only reason most of the level 50 fights take more than twelve seconds is because they keep jumping off screen or going invulnerable so they don't break their scripts.

Yeah, some of them you can burst down (my best on Minstrel's Tale Ultima Weapon is seven seconds), but others will do their invuln phases unless you can one-shot 'em. And even a buffed reassembled drill in the upper 90s won't one-shot Extreme Titan. (Binding Bahamut turn 5 is so annoying that way, since you have to spend several minutes waiting for instant-kill knockback that needs you to be careful about positioning.)

I can usually burst down Bahamut before he starts his big attacks, but it depends on a lucky crit or two, or if server ping doesn't like me that day. Give it another patch worth of gearing up and that'll smooth out.

Most of Heavensward is pretty soloable now too. A couple of the Alexander Savage fights are rough if you're not on a tank. Sephirot has to be burned into his phase change before he gets off his tankbuster, otherwise it stacks a vulnerability debuff and crushes you, but it's doable. Zurvan just stops taking damage at 1 HP until he drops the platform to end the intro phase, but he'll die immediately from an auto attack after that. Sophia's biggest threat is tilting the platform to slide you off. Thordan, Bismark, and Nidhogg are just time-consuming. Ravana is pretty easy to nuke down.
