So rewatching some older cutscenes with my Hroth, she doesn't seem quite as expressive as my the Viera. A bunch of my favorite glams don't look good on her. Hroth seems to not be able to use a bunch of the esthetician options.

When I fanted Neera, I made the decision to keep her fanted for a month (nov 15 - dec 15) to really give it a fair shot. But at the moment, I'm seriously leaning towards getting my Viera back.

Hrothgals are currently very behind on hair options. Viera and male Hrothgar had them slowly added throughout Endwalker's patches, so it's likely they'll continue to be doled out as time goes on.

Hrothgar are also behind and likely to stay behind on hats, but no moreso than Viera, I suppose.

It is weird how unexpressive PC FemHroth are given how much Wuk Lamat mugs for the camera, though.

Playing

Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy XII

on PS 2.

I was wondering if any of you guys remember the 5th trial from Final Fantasy X. (Conveyor belts) Stalled out on this one.

Also trying to level up before the point of no return on Final Fantasy XII.

No one responded, so I'll just respond to say I remember absolutely nothing gameplay wise about 10.

I finished XII on Switch, but when I tried playing it on PS5, I got distracted by a bunch of other games. Don't even remember where I left off.

As of last night my WoL is back to her Viera self. I really just wasn't feeling the Hroth. I'm glad she's back.

I have a Miqo'te character, but that would require going all the way back to ARR and sprout status. Might as well just make a completely new character.

I finally realized I should visually archive my glams in some way, so I stuck a bunch of screenshots into GDocs. Names are links.

Excalibur:
Kat Anderes - Original character, currently in post-Dawntrail. Originally Miq'ote, but I have almost no pictures of her from before I made her Hrothgar.
Searing Khamsin - Main group character, about halfway through DT. We play Sunday nights. I tank for the team, mostly Warrior but right now I'm leveling up Dark Knight.
Eana Eanasir - Joke character, mainly paused in post-ARR, but available should I need a lower level character for play with someone who doesn't want to be bigfooted by a level-capped monster. I do go in and do seasonal events with him and the other paused characters to get glams and mounts and stuff.

Exodus:
Uwuigail Simpington - Joke character based on the Something Positive webcomic, I meant to make her on Hyperion but goofed. Mostly paused. I only got her into HW because I wanted her to have the Red Mage weapon from Yo-kai Watch.

Hyperion:
Gogori Gori - My second character from when I was on free trial and couldn't make more than one character per server. Sat fallow for a while, but about a year and a half ago I went back to her. Currently using her to stay a week or so ahead of Searing so I can refresh my memory of various duties and help my weekly group.
Eduar'to Kaatapoh - A couple years ago one of the weekly group had to stop playing for a few months. Rather than just jump back into Endwalker, we decided to start a new group and play for a bit to let the paused players get back into the swing of things, and try some other roles (the usual healer went tank, and Ed is primarily healer). Paused for now, but I suspect that once the main team gets to the end of MSQ we might go back. Waiting to enter the Sirensong Sea.

I may or may not remember to update them as I add or replace glams.

Final Fantasy XI Online is still active in case you guys missed it.

My only worry here is the combined for the full game would be over 50 G. You need a pay by monthly account.

As for Final Fantasy XIV you would need to beat the game within the free level max cut off point.

So, does anyone here play Theatrhythm? I've had it since launch on the Switch, and will go through phases where I'll play it quite a bit for a few weeks, then not at all for weeks or months. Been on a kick with it the last few weeks. Finally finished off all the series quests, collected all the cards, and just achieved all the feats except one - scoring 9.8M on a Supreme score. Not sure if I'm going to be able to manage that one, but I'll probably start testing the waters for it this week.

I'm the same. I'll play it for a few days and then not touch it for a while. I have DLC I haven't even touched. But sometimes I just need a play through some of XIV's music.

Yeah, I think I saw there are around 500 songs total, and I've cleared a bit over 400 on basic, something like 100 on expert, and maybe a dozen on ultimate. And most of those, I barely survived with a full defense & healing team.

I've been working on completing critical charts on basic and expert. It's definitely getting easier as I take on new songs and get used to some of the things the game throws at you. I think the next big hurdle I have to get over is all the stuff intermingling hold triggers with simultaneous touch and slide triggers. I'm starting to get a handle on them, but they can still overwhelm me pretty quickly.

Observations on FFXIV

Sprout: Bored now. Skip cutscene.
Experienced Player: WHAT ARE YOU DOING? DON'T SKIP THE CUTSCENES!!!!

Sprout: How and when do I get a chocobo? I'm tired of walking everywhere.
Experienced Player: I have so many mounts, I could assign one to each of my hotkeys and still have more left over.

Sprout: I hate having stats tied to gear. It always means you have to wear something ugly to get by.
Experienced Player: Glamour is the true endgame.

Sprout: What's with these emoticons? I mean, they're cute and all, but kinda useless. I just want to kill stuff!
Experienced Player: Emotes are the true endgame.

Sprout: What race do I want to make my character? There's so many choices and I don't want to be stuck with something I hate.
Experienced Player: My name is (insert name here) and I am a Fanta addict.

I played the Theatrhythm DS games, haven't bothered with the Switch ones. Pressing buttons and moving joysticks just doesn't feel as fun as using the stylus. Plus, these days I prefer low focus games I can play during downtime at work. Also, my hands cramp up much faster than they used to. ;_;

I'll agree that the stylus feels better than the controller. Still, after a while I got used to it. I play more for the music than anything. "Answers" and "Who Brings Shadow" became my favorites thanks a lot to Theatrhythm.
