Yes, the things that make an actual sandwich. Just putting some meat between bread doesn't make it a sandwich and every meal needs some vegetables in them, lest we want to spend time in hospital.Salad? Vegetables?
Can't agree there. That's probably why I didn't really enjoy the food that much when I was in America; too much meat and cheese and not enough veggies for balance.Does when it’s brisket. Little sauce and maybe cheese is all it needs.
This one is new to me.Mac n cheese is another acceptable topping for either brisket or pork.
For American BBQ, things like lettuce, tomatoes and onion don’t really go on it. That’s saved more for a hamburger
With a pulled pork sandwhich, one way is to put coleslaw on it. Mac n cheese is another acceptable topping for either brisket or pork.
A bbq joint I went to in Nee Mexico, and others do this too, melt some pepper Jack cheese on chopped brisket. Some grilled red and green peppers with onions was on it too.
In all honesty, you make your sandwhich on how it’s going to taste good to you. That is all that really matters. I normally have a rounded meals, add in some kind of starch with mashed taters, fries or rice. Some kind of veggie. Again for me, I don’t cook and eat bbq to be healthy. I cook and I eat because it’s delicious.
