My brother had that M. Bison when we were kids! I've kind of wanted to find another one. Nice haul!
I'm not sure if that was part of the movie line, or the regular one that preceded it, but I've been wanting to collect all the Street Fighter movie merch I can find.

It's... not really gone well so far.

The glorious irony of the rise of the collector in the 90s:
The crap they all bought and hoarded (Star Trek, Star Wars, a LOT of the 12” GI Joe stuff, etc) can be found for barely more than retail, even 30 years on. What HAS become hard to find? All the “kids crap” they ignored like Street Fighter Movie stuff, Beast Wars and War Planets.

Street Fighter Film stuff is probably harder to get since the film was a bomb and it feels like a LOT of it ended up flushed to outlets. Good luck trying to get the Shadowloo headquarters…

Mattel has officially revealed the GI Joe MEGA Construx set:

Featuring the Skystriker against a Cobra HISS, the set will be Mattel Creations Exclusive debuting on November 15.

I have to say I'm a tad disappointed. I think a GI Joe Construx line would have been a great replacement/supplement to the Call of Duty and Halo sets that MEGA already does. Maybe this is a test run for the idea?

They definitely look better than the Forever Clever sets of the recent past. That said, being a Mattel exclusive with an $81 price tag is going to probably mean I won't get this set. Maybe if some regular retail offerings come out down the line...

I gotta say, a big multipack of Megacontrux Joe figures like they've done with He-man would be pretty hard to pass up.

I don't really follow GI Joe, but I would buy some reasonably priced Mega Construx Joe/Cobra figures as they'd scale nicely with Transformers

Interesting Joe went Mega while Transformers went Lego. But I guess straight up military like stuff has never been Lego's thing

Hey look, it's leaked samples of Slice and Dice!

I'm HIGHLY amused at how many Ninja Force offerings Hasbro has done and has on tap (like the 91 version, which I associate with Ninja Force as much as the real Ninja Force version).
This is what happens when Pixel Dan gets in your ear.

For real, though, he's made it cool -- or at least trendy -- for people to like Ninja Force, it seems.

Gamemill is yanking GI Joe Operation Blackout (the mediocre 3rd person shooter from a few years ago) from Steam on December 31. Possible that consoles will follow. I'm assuming this is just a licensing expiration.

Ah, I might throw a story up about that later. Thanks!
