Alolan Pokemon are showing up now in Go. I got the first two evolutions of all three starters already.

Also I was surprised to hear they weren't in there already given the gen VIII Pokemon available last year.

So has anyone else had trouble with the current Gamestop promotion for Legends Arceus? I went to my normal Gamestop yesterday, and the clerk not only said that they didn't have any codes, but seemed to be under the impression that they weren't getting any.

Fortunately, I called another one in town, and they claimed that shipments were just delayed, but still.

Free growlith and feather balls? That's...underwhelming. I've released so many Growliths and could make hundreds of feather balls if I had the compulsion.

I had the same problem with the Shiny Zacian/Zamazenta codes a while back. I'm not sure if they're just massively underestimating demand for these, or if they're purposely shorting stores, so customers have to come in multiple times (and hopefully buy multiple other things while they're in).

I contacted Gamestop itself, told them I tried to get the codes in stores and that they already ran out, and asked nicely if they could send me a code via e-mail...and it worked! So, if you just want the code and not the card itself, I'd probably try that way, it's likely FAR less of a hassle.

The Zarude E-mail code disappointed me, I am registered at their site yet received nothing.
They should just release it over wifi before this gen is out, I actually have gotten a Zarude through Go but can't transfer it to the game.

I've contacted them. Hopefully that gets some positive results, but given my previous experiences with things like this, I'm not very optimistic.

Shiny Eevee in Go today.

I wonder if stockpiling Alpha Pokemon will pay off in gen IX in some way like Ultra Evolutions with Omega moves or something.

Sure looks very PLAy. Hopefully the mechanics are very similar, because going from Arceus to a "classic style" Pokemon game would be torture.

My efforts with Gamestop bore a little fruit. Apparently, the codes going out were delayed. I'm gonna take another swing at collecting one for myself next week.

It's a shocking development. He had such an electrifying personality. Every time he was around, the entire room was charged with energy. Unfortunately, his career just became static after a while. There was a current in the air that something just wasn't right.

Nothing in Legends for days then two shinies at once: a shiny Budew and a shiny Teddiursa.

Also a gen IX wish:
Let's Go save gives you Mewthree
Sword and Shield save gives you the ability to have Calyrex mount Zacian or Zamazenta.
Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl save gives you a regional variant Cresselia which is fairy type.
Legends Arceus save gives you regional variants Phione and Rotom.

Biggest thing I really want in IX, and this doesn't even have to be Scarlet/Violet, just...at some point in Gen IX I want to be able to finally get my Fenniken line out of my Home boxes.

Pyroar, Gogoat, Florges, Ash Greninja, Toucannon, Crabominable, Alolan Golem, Oricorio, Minior, Eelektross, Leavanny, Zebstrika, Tropius, Kecleon, Cacturn, Grumpig, just a few of the 200+ we can't get in gen VIII.

We saw Seviper and Hoppip in the trailer but the rest were from LA and SwSh.
