I'd recommend wrapping the blast effects in paper. Plasticizer shouldn't react at all with paper and as long as it isn't an ungodly amount, it should just evaporate through the pores.
Wait, they emit gas that'll ruin plastic?!?they can just do their plastic off-gassing safetly
no, they secrete minute droplets of plasticizer that eventually evaporate. The gas itself won’t harm the plastic but if conditions are not conducive to evaporating, they’ll remain in the harmful liquid stateWait, they emit gas that'll ruin plastic?!?
How the hell is Hasbro still including these things?! It's practically criminal!
What sort of paper is ideal for keeping these in? TP? Paper town? 8x11 printing paper?
Only if they get hungry.Won't they eat through the container?
I’d expect some disfigurement or scarring at worst but not enough to put a hole through the container.Won't they eat through the container?
Exactly! I use them all them time when posing for a cool picture or something. Then I take them off and put them back into the container. They're just fine for limited use like that.I mean blast effects are still cool as hug just don't like...leave them permanently attached to your figures and store them separately when not in use.
