You have to admire the courage on the Belmonts who repeatedly go after monsters only vulnerable to dismemberment and staking with a whip.

Also eating chicken they found in an old abandoned castle.

Being a franchise for literal children, there’s only a handful of Pokemon characters who’d have enough to apply the physics and neither of them are on that list.

besides I'm pretty sure both are some kind of mass produced robot.

Switch 2 looks good but ouch the price hike on games hurts. It’s not all that bad since I don’t buy all that many but that is one hell of a jump.

Man, some of the kids posting on this makes me feel old...And some have some skewed memories of gaming pricing. The price jump was less surprising to me than it being NINTENDO being the first to step across the line.
But...

I remember the shock from my parents seeing a $65 price tag on Aladdin on the SNES. And don't even look at Super Street Fighter 2's $75 initial retail price! Even up to the turn of the millennium, the later, larger, N64 titles would see prices between $70-80!

It's been $50-60 for so long that it feels like a huge jump, but to be fair, inflation's been kicking game prices' collective asses until now, so I guess this is just Nintendo ripping off the bandaid.

Still sucks to spend more money though.

Switch games are on average $60 for big-budget titles as far as I know, so I went with that pricing.

Unless you bought them at Walmart. They'd been undercutting everyone by $10 for YEARS. It was only late 2023 that Walmart actually started to price new Switch games to MSRP.
