This doesn't look fun anymore.
It still looks plenty fun to me it just looks like fun I'm less likely to take part in personally and more likely to admire from a distance (and maybe sketch and make up head canon about).

Yeah, at half those prices, I might've gone for a couple, but that's a bit much.
The figures look to me like the Jungle Planet (from TF Cybertron) meets Combiner Wars, with a splash of the Autobot’s combining gimmick from TF Energon.
price is a bit much for a novelty but the toys don’t look good enough to be an expensive collector piece. Plus the fact they don’t form full limbs is a bummer. Oh well, money saved.
Now that there's more info, this can definitely be imported as the next Crossovers Transformers X Captain Planet X Power Rangers three-way tie in line.
Looks like the arms are actually replaced with the animal. Possibly just 5mm ports like DinoKing, so Fossilizer/Weaponizer retro-compatibility?

I love how modular these are. There's a lot of potential here that'll probably never be realized. This Prime is crying out for a whole series of UT style combinations, but not at these prices, and I doubt it's going to happen.
I'm still kinda interested in Megatron as a standalone toy just because the robot mode looks kinda great. I actually like that better than Siege. They took the Evergreen design and somehow made it work for me.

Wait, do the limb figures each share an identical center body that they just slap modular parts onto to make them into different animals?
Looks like it. And I could be totally okay with that. I liked Kabaya's Gaia Cross. But those were cheap model kits that came with some gum. The whole set cost me about as much as one of these limb bots would.
I know they look dorky, but I can't stop looking at them. I want the giraffe and elephant.

We know from the original leak that there's a Mammal predator (wolf or tiger from the small blurry pic) and a Spinosaur coming.

Seeing that Lightlong can connect to the back, I'd like a 5th that is a Pterosaur and/or Falcon so that they can have wingpacks.
