I wonder if our sanctions on Russia come with travel restrictions that could be exploited to block them from coming back. You know, we'd make it look like a clerical error. A clerical error we're just not in any hurry to correct.

Does he have US citizenship now? Remember he's from South Africa.
He is a natrualized citizen. Looks like he has been since 2002. At least he can never weasel his way into the White House.

1.) he would do the same thing trump is going to do: "He can RUN, he just can't sit!" followed immediately with "Well, he won, so he's the will of the people. he's going to sit.".

2.) why the hug would musk take THAT much responsibility and THAT big a pay cut? He's stupid, but no way he's that stupid.

In theory, becoming president would result in more oversight, making it harder to get away with his bullshit.

I'm practice, well, Trump.

From the beginning, Putin’s loyal mouthpieces like state TV host Vladimir Solovyov asserted that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a “holy war,” predicting it would lead to a “global jihad” against the West. Deputy of the State Duma Vyacheslav Nikonov claimed that Russia is “the embodiment of the forces of good” and stated, “This is truly a holy war we're waging and we must win.” Major General Apti Alaudinov, the commander of Chechen forces, who is himself a Muslim, claimed that Russia’s war against Ukraine will lead to the second coming of Christ, describing Moscow’s troops as “the forerunners of Jesus forces.”

Apparently, these assurances are not sufficient to ensure a steady stream of volunteers, much less to calm down the families of fallen soldiers. This month, Archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church Artemiy Vladimirov decided to up the ante and claimed that soldiers fighting on Russia’s side in Ukraine get resurrected after they get killed.

Well, Putin is saber-rattling about Cold War II now, looks like.

Putin: Russia May Give Weapons To Countries Near Us, West
In response to Ukraine using American weapons in Russia, President Vladimir Putin said that his country could retaliate by providing long-range missiles to countries within striking distance of Western nations.
Speaking specifically of the US and Germany, President Putin said that the authorization of weapons use by Ukraine in Russia was a “very dangerous step” that could lead to “very serious problems.”
He also warned that the move “would mark their direct involvement in the war against the Russian Federation, and we reserve the right to act the same way.”
“If they consider it possible to deliver such weapons to the combat zone to launch strikes on our territory and create problems for us, why don’t we have the right to supply weapons of the same type to some regions of the world where they can be used to launch strikes on sensitive facilities of the countries that do it to Russia?” he said. “We will think about it.”
President Putin also said it was “absolute nonsense” that Russia would attack NATO, telling a reporter who asked about retaliation against the bloc not to “form an image of Russia as an enemy. You are only hurting yourselves with this, do you understand? You have made up that Russia wants to attack NATO. Have you completely lost your mind? Are you as thick as this table?”

Oh please russia, please: spread around your soviet era, obsolete, non-functional nuclear arsenal to incompetents that swear fealty to putin. That'll teach us in the west.

Ah yes, countries that are physically closer to us than Russia is and also hate us enough to want to nuke us. Countries like...

Belarus, maybe?

Edit: I've literally got google maps set over eastern europe, and am looking at the region. I mean: moldova, and georgia, are desperately trying to rebuild their militaries deliberately to fight russia should the time come, or desperately trying to appear nonchalant so they'll be left alone, like romania.

Well, if other nations get Russian weapons, and then Russia's enemies get attacked with Russian weapons, clearly it was those other nations, right? Or at least it has to be investigated, so they have more time to reload.
