Maple would instantly distrust her.

Yeah, I had ideas for if she did or didn't; her distrust of her would have Charity likely comment about Maple being a hypocrite. Being a good changeling, but being upset that no one seems to trust her or see her as anything but a monster; yet here she is meeting another Changeling trying to be good, and yet her own first instincts, despite her own personal experience, lead her to also distrust another changelings?

sadly it isn't hypocrisy, its just bog standard self-hate. ...or at least it could have been, it would have depended on how far into the mane game it took place lol, Maple eventually sorts her stuff out. they could have just as easily been nearly-best friends

It's a very Inspector Javert kind of self-hate. "I was born with scum like you. I am from the gutter too."

"Bucking Changelings took my mom away too... and not just that, but they also took away everything I ever thought I was."

This is such a believably irrational way to look at it, and it would have been fascinating to watch her take it out on another changeling. It's a shame that mini campaign didn't happen.

Hmm, Static is also in grumpy mode, but interestingly, he did come to Maple's defense, telling Scarlet to "let her vent."

There's so many little moments that I've forgotten that I'm actually liking as far as bringing out sides of the characters that may not necessarily have been shown in the main campaign.

"Yeah, there never seems to be just an ordinary, calm social event in my life any more," Static says in reply to Amber. "There always seems to be some kind of fightng or running orscreaming." He hears Amber scream. "Yeah, just like that! Still, I can't say enough how glad I am you're here now, Amber."

...

"Amber?"

Static turns around. "BUCK ME!" Static runs out of the room. "I'm never going to another social gathering for as long as I live!" he cries out as he runs.

I completely forgot about this. What's really funny about this is that I remember being stressed and grouchy by this point. Static was also stressed and grouchy. Yet some how there was still time enough for some lowkey humor.

I'm stopping here for today, because as of now everything is synchronized. It's January 1, and the campaign has just reached January 1.

I wasn't planning on it, but I'm recreating this campaign almost in real time.

Then he turned to Night Cap and eyed him.

”Night Cap. The only ponies with that kind of notoriety, are the Princessess. Not you or me.

And, you’re not seriously saying you would have accepted her offer had shown known about you. Right?”

Maple must not have heard that, she doesn't tend to stand by idle when there's counter-Night Cap lore being spouted.

"um, actually - I'll have you know Mr. Night Cap is very well known... by just about every pony everywhere... but most forget about it when they wake up."

in this batch we see the moment Maple decides she's going to propose to Misty. and then it gets further cemented when she agrees not to go back to the kitchen. what happened in there is not something i think either of them wants to think about again so soon.

I don't remember just how long before this Shadewing told me I was the killer. I don't think it was too long before. She left it up to me how I wanted to play it: brainwashed or actually turned evil. At the time I just couldn't bring mysellf to play Static as straight up evil. Though now I wonder how things might've turned out if I had.

The song he sang I first heard in a "Last of Us 2" trailer. But I did find the original version.

I'm not sure how well I could run, seeing as my attempt at Night Haze faltered. But if I were, I might use the Renegade stuff, since I'm using their TF stuff and am famialr with it. Not even sure if enough would be interested.
I'm not sure if I'd be up for an ongoing RP. Maybe a one or two month thing. That being the case though, I really don't want to have to learn a whole new complicated system for every single short one-off we decide to do. Simplicity would probably be of primary concern to me personally.

But within that framework, I would almost always be up for revisiting Static and/or Hazy.

If enough show interest, I might see about trying again. Part of me also kinda wants to get back to Night Haze, but agaisn not sure who else would want to. Also wondering if either might go better as an actual like weekly TT session.
