Well, I like the Legend, Anniversary, Underworld trilogy in its own right. So if you're playing them because you want to and because they're fun, then by all means!
But if you're playing them because you feel you have to in order to play the survivors trilogy... you really don't. The Survivors Trilogy is a total reboot with absolutely nothing to do with what came before.

Well even if I can't finish a game I don't miss any.
There are games I play to continue the story mainly. If it's a chain link deal with previous games.
Not sure if Legend - Underworld would be a chain story. Tomb Raider I - V are singular. Also Angel Of Darkness.
Almost done with Final Fantasy XII which is a single story.

The most I know of Tomb Raider is from the first two movies. I do have the first game of the newer trilogy. I have the newer movie as well, but haven't had a chance to sit down and watch it yet.

So, you're linking like some sort of digital thing? Did you even pay for these games? This isn't really the thread for that.
Well I have PS 2 games on game disk.
I have PS 1 games on blue flash drives.
Some PS 1 games aren't compatible on PS 2 so I may get the ones that are.
This is the reason I play PS 1 games on PS Mini.
It's the game software actually. You try playing PS 1 games on a later system the new system might not run the old games even if you own them digitally.
Games most of the time work on the first system the game was released on.
So I have a PS 2 and a PS 3 both.
Also a PS 1 mini.
Tomb Raider on PC is a case in point. You end up with a new computer when the next Tomb Raider releases.
I can play 9 Tomb Raider games on PS 2.
Starting at Tomb Raider XI I would be forced into getting a PS 4 for the next 2 games in the Survivor Trilogy.
I may have to get a PC for Tomb Raider X - XII (Survivor Trilogy)

I've run into a lot of game software issues with Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 on PS 2 with the PS 3 re issue edition.
Which is why I own both games on PS 2.
This is why I have PS 1 games on the blue flash drives.
I plan to at some point possibly get the games missed depending on backwards compatible with PS 2.

Probably best to just stick with physical retro titles we collect. Listing digital stuff isn't really something I think anyone other than the person who posts them cares about. Like no one would care if I listed all the games I have digitally regardless if I have a physical disc or not.
My games in a way are digital but you can run them on PS Mini.
PS 2 is where I play game DVDs.
The problem is with PS 3 forward when you install games. At a G. each or more it can eat up your hard drive.
This is why I don't own a lot of PS 3 games.
I want to be able to fit on what I actually plan to play.
