So maybe Legacy should just start over without anybody from TNG and be it's own series.
Picard pretty much gave us a five minute pitch trailer at the end there. Set a course to the Matalas system and all that. The show would be on the 'Enterprise G' with Jack, Seven, Raffi, and Sidney La Forge, none of whom originated in TNG, with special guest star John de Lancie.

Star Trek I - VI

The Kirk era (Prime Time Line movies)

These movies have their weak moments but when watched together felt like they had resumed from Turnabout Intruder.

I had seen all of TOS on tape and TV.

The first 6 movies feel like a continuation.

The movies together can be split into 6 two part episodes as a series and could be run under Phase II.

Saved By The Bell had done it for their movies from the 90s as 4 part episodes.

Star Trek

Kelvin Time Line Trilogy

Started this as a full 3 parter together today and regardless of the flaws I hope this Trilogy can be strong enough together as a full story.

Into Darkness gets crapped on for being remake, but really its not so bad. It has one of the best fight scenes in Star Trek history.

The Kelvin movies are next.

I had seen most of TNG and Picard actually.

Picard ended the way it needed to -

tying up lose ends left over from TNG.

So maybe Legacy should just start over without anybody from TNG and be it's own series.

We really could use some of the TNG cast showing up every now and then. LaForge would be around since his kid would be there, and you know Data would be close by. Frakes has publicly said that he wanted to be the admiral that would assign them missions, and that sounds like a good way to keep him and the occasional Troi cameo in it.

And of course Q has to be there, because the Trial Never Ends!

It's been 6 and a half years since Star Trek XIII Beyond so if a 14th comes out I would rather they started over with the next movie.

Yeah, I would love for an actual new movie came out in the prime timeline. Heck call it Star Trek Legacy, and have it featuring the new cast plus a few celebrity red shirts.

I always wanted a big crossover movie starring the casts of TNG, DS9, and Voyager all teaming up together for a big ensemble movie. The Enterprise, the Defiant, and Voyager all facing off against a common adversary, one a big enough deal to bring all three crews together, and giving us new interactions between members of each cast that we've never gotten to see before.

Ooh, maybe have a set of five movies with their own crew and have to have an avengers style cross over film at the end to deal with the big bad.

Watching the Kelvin Trilogy this week.

I hope all 3 connect together and one movie leads into the next.

Starting Into Darkness later today.

Honestly, Generations 4 (the project that became Nemesis), really missed out in this regard, as one could easily have had a plot arc where Shinzon launches a plot to destroy not Earth (as the Romulan military hardliners who backed him were expecting), but Bajor (to hurt Picard more, as he had been an advocate for them back around TNG S5).

Apparently, though, the screenwriter for Nemesis didn't even once glance at DS9, and wasn't even aware of Worf's arc through the latter half of that series.

And this is where I shake my head, because if you know that you're making the last feature film outing for a while (as Paramount was at the time unwilling to, as one source put it, "pay Patrick Stewart X-Men money"), you may as well pull out all the stops. Unfortunately, Berman was not a risk-taker by nature. His formulas worked for a good while, it can't be denied, but by 2002 he was arguably trying too hard to capture 1994's highs....

It's not riding on the highs but more of a matter of continuing where they left off in the 90s series.

Star Trek VII Generations had managed to finish the 101-D with it being destroyed on Varidian III.

It wasn't a finale but had set up the next leg of the story with First Contact and the Enterprise E trilogy.

I still think that the Enterprise E is one amazing ship, and I hope that we find out what happened to her.

I give it even odds she was one of the ships lost in the fracas caused by the Protostar and its computer "virus."

The timing would be about right I think?

That would give Worf a way of saying that wasn't his fault. I do hope that it wasn't completely destroyed, but just sent to mothballs.

Beyond is the last of the Kelvin trilogy.

The 3 movies in this set have so far flowed smoothly as one seemless story.

It fills me with indescribable rage that at 0:53, a Defiant class ship shows up and fires its forward phasers, but they come out as continuous beams instead of a string of pulsed blasts.

But for Enterprise E, I'm content to accept that Worf lost it in a Noodle Incident.

Edit:

Oh, right, and they said they wanted Soji in there too, didn't they? As someone else with a TNG parent....

I just went through a whole bunch of s2 DS9 and just had to say that the the set of 22- The Wire, 23- Crossover, 24- The Collaborator and 25- Tribunal were the nail-biting set of tense episodes to string together. Geez!

The Wire got me aghast at the three war crime stories Garak said and I'm not even sure which was real. Great acting on the pain he felt from the device too.

Crossover, the episode was ending and I wasn't sure how Kira and Bashir were going to fix everything. Odo exploding was too much. And we didn't see Quark executed either.

Collaborator, wthex were those dreams of the that guy Vedek that Kira was with? What the hex ending was that?! Winn is a beach! How in heaven's did they let this happen?! Geez!

Tribunal was frightening. They really had to show how O'Brien was humiliated. What the hex was up with Cardassian justice, where the verdict was known and the trial was for show. They had two days, then hours to find a loophole else O'Brien was to be killed. Terrifying.

These eps seriously didn't need to be strung together. My heart could only take so much, haha
