I’ve preordered the first two and the two pack. May as well finish the set at that point. If Studio Series doesn’t do it for me, I still have Gravity Builder at least.

Sorry misremembered. Turns out there aren't any yet upon checking my pending stuff. Could have sworn I did but there aren't any listings.

It's official, I've canceled my preorders for Devy and Superion. I don't mind the whole trailer aspect of the combiners if it makes sense. With Motormaster, it made sense that he has a trailer and it helps in the combiner mode. As others have mentioned, I am probably going to be all for an Onslaught with a trailer as well. I just couldn't get past it for Devy and Superion when I already have perfectly good versions of each of them.

Off of Weibo, in hand images of SS-116 BBM Bumblebee (V2). The more notable images, to me, are the examples of how to fold the doors back behind the figure’s back, creating a more accurate film look.

Well, dang it. Guess I better get my preorder in on him…

I'm trying to decide if I want these new Constructicons. Does anybody know if Long Haul's "trailer" DOES anything when he's in his individual robot mode? (Other than just sit there, of course.) For example, does it have any sort of "battle station" mode, like Legacy Motormaster's trailer did?

Honestly, that trailer is the only real downside about these for me, and I'm trying to figure out just how much of a downside it is, and if it's a dealbreaker...

At this point in time, the figure hasn't even been officially shown off by Hasbro yet. The few pics we've seen so far have been from leaks of an event that, as of this time, hasn't yet had any official coverage from Hasbro released.

I didn't know Evan and the official Transformers Instagram account were considered leakers these days. o_O

The Transformers Instagram posted a slate of figure previews in advance of a full presentation tomorrow (January 14).
In addition to package refreshes of 86 Jazz and the Dark of the Moon Shockwave, we got our first official look at Que (Wheeljack), Devastation Optimus Prime, WfC Ironhide, and a more complete look at Age of Extinction Optimus Prime.

That link defaults to the final image of the post.

Try this one to start it at the beginning:

Posting this here since it's a majority of Studio Series:

It was also pointed out in the video that this AOE Optimus is specifically AOE Optimus pre-forearms-upgrade, as he appears in most of that movie from the time he first scans his new altmode to right before he pulls out the sword and his arms change. But despite that, they still wanted to include the sword as an accessory anyway.

Theoretically, this would give them a reason to do a retool of this mold with his arms altered to match the upgrade he gets in the movie, which could be sold as a TLK Optimus since I think he still had that same arm upgrade in that movie.

That "leader" AOE Prime is tiny I thought it was a deluxe at first none of the SS figures are doing it for me

My first reaction was to worry he might be too big. :p I want to see him next to the 2007/RotF/DotM Optimus. I'm still really impressed with how well the different SS Megatrons match height, with the leg joints allowing all three of them to be posed at basically identical heights. I hope this Optimus likewise is a good match for his previous form.

He's likely of similar robot-mode height to all the other Studio Series versions of Movieverse Optimus.

Hoping to see better-transformed and posed pics soon.

The legs are a pretty notable improvement over the TLK Voyager's (which I'm fairly happy with as my representation of that design) but the shell has to go somewhere, and the way it folds up into the backpack is currently not as clear as I'd like.

Although it SEEMS reasonably compact, just the panel with the silver bit needs to be up rather than hanging back like that (this is clearer in the packaging render). I actually kind of like how the one big solid panel is flat against the back like that, like a cape. Wish the smaller panels tucked nearly under it. Either way, from the brief turnaround on my tiny phone screen it looks fairly better rhan, say, SS ROTB Mirage's or Nightbird's backpack stuff.

This does seem pretty underpainted though. (And it's probably just me but something about the altmode seems a bit off? Maybe I'm just used to the old one.)

Worst case, I'll just stick with the TLK one. But the proportions overall look good (none of the previous releases had quite that same level of chest beefiness) and this seems pretty nice and dynamic.
