Too many TLA's that supposedly everyone knows but I don't. What's BST AXN?
Loyal Subjects’ brand name for their 5” collector oriented action figure line. Stands for “BeST ActioN”. In fairness, it’s not short hand. THAT is what the line is called :p

They did a bunch of different licenses, but Ninja Turtles seems to be the one that garnered traction to keep going.

Detail on the initial release for Jem:
Walmart exclusive, due in February. For $25, TLS seems to have put a nice bit of value in this offering.

For the action brands, MASK was reportedly shown behind closed doors last fall at the LA Toy Show. The line will be fully unveiled in March during Toy Fair.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

Price is actually pretty reasonable for what you get. I've got no attachment to Jem, but it makes me hopeful for the upcoming M.A.S.K. release(s).

Not Loyal Subjects, but in the same ballpark of "revived dead Hasbro properties", Super7 revealed their first two Micronauts releases as part of the Reaction+ (aka, full o-ring construction) line. If there is a preferred Micronauts thread, let me know, but I felt this ties into the broader initiatve TLS is doing.

Hmm... this "Jerrica" girl looks awfully familiar. Any idea who she could be?

TLS Toy (The Loyal Subjects' dedicated retro toy arm, I guess now?) is planning a big presentation on Friday for the press to kick off Toy Fair. The big anchor to the presentation will be first looks at TLS's new range of MASK products due later this year

And Pop Insider's magazine had a small feature this month, discussing the newest wave of retro revivals, with TLS's Jem line being heavily featured.

TLS is not only going to be showing off MASK., but My Buddy and additional Jem products should be appearing. And, apparently, TLS also make merchandise for Carmen Sandiego (not Hasbro, but I thought it was interesting)

Ooh, looks like their first wave will be Rhino, Thunderhawk, Condor, and Switchblade. Not a bad grouping, though I probably would have liked to get a Jackhammer instead of the Condor so that it's 2 VENOM vehicles vs. 2 MASK vehicles.

The Thunderhawk and Switchblade had to happen. They are the "Face of the brand". I kinda wish they had waited on the Rhino because of its size/likely Price. But I do get why they went there it is easily the third "face of the brand."

Condor isn't as iconic but it's one of the best small/cheep sets so I'm thrilled they went for it. I just wish they'd done the Piranha to go with it. That was my first MASK toy and had a big spot in my heart.

-ZacWilliam, I hope they get to do a Wave 2 and Piranha happens there.

I hope if they do Piranha they fix some of the issues with it. The figures look a bit different, maybe they will have joints in their hips that allow them to ride motorcycles :D. And hopefully they can find a way to prevent the shield from breaking easily.

Anyways I'm *loving* the blast effects!

Like the Super7 Micronauts stuff, NOT Loyal Subjects but still in that “Hasbro license revival” category:
Basic Fun (who’ve taken the reigns on Littlest Pet Shop and Tonka for the last little bit) will be reintroducing Stretch Armstrong to mass retail this year. In addition to the classic design and his nemesis, Vac-Man, BF will introduce a new modernized look figure and a slate of licensed characters in the style (probably whatever Moose Toys didn’t snap up with Goo-Jitsu). They will also reportedly be adding more products to their “retro-styled” My Little Pony range.

Just Play has announced they will be stepping into the games category with new iterations of classic Hasbro games Skip-It and Simon

First clear image of the MDU (aka, Rhino) and more details about this 40th Anniversary product range. TLS will be partnering with BBTS and will have preorders on July 1, with full roll out on September 2.
