Now that I think about it, I'm actually a little surprised Hasbro didn't attempt to make Energon Duststorm and Cybertron Mudflap the same character in their attempts to reconnect Cybertron back with Armada and Energon in the English version, what with Duststorm and Mudflap both being cranes with a very similar light blue coloration.

I never cared for Bumblebee's face, either. His design, I think, is actually one of the stronger Bay era designs, and I even really like the "helmet" portion of his head, but I never did care for his face. It has an odd, sunken, almost skull-like look that I don't care for. His battlemask, though, was always top-notch.

I don't like Movie Bumblebee's face either, but I'm not sure a normal Movie face would have been more appealing.

Somehow I think Megatron ended up with the most normal Transformer looking head in the whole series, and we almost didn't get that.
