There's going to be a clause in the fine print that Elon can borrow any money you deposit indefinitely and interest-free to pay off his Twitter debt.

Remember that right-wing dating site that ended up being 99% dudes? It's going to be that (assuming it actually becomes a dating app).

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

Given how fast and how many new features he's trying to roll out in such a short period of time... I figure it's a pump and dump.

As in he's promising the moon hoping it'll drive the value of the company up so he can resell it before he has to admit none of those features were actually being worked on?

No amount of promises will bring the value back up anywhere near what it was when he bought it. Mostly because those promises are being made by him, and he's the whole reason it tanked in the first place.

And the funny thing is that the ideal pump-and-dump scheme would be to just buy it from him and wait about a week before reselling it, as his removal from the picture would be enough to cause the value to shoot back up. Not to the price he paid, but still the kind of zero-effort ROI the average investor can only dream of.

I think the goal would be to raise the value enough to minimize his losses (or break even.) then run like he started a fire.

cause he did, it's a dumpster fire.

It's either that, or it's straight up snake oil; He thinks he can hype up the potential enough to make it worthwhile to continue to own. Because his shenanigans with twitter have opened the worlds eyes to his incompetence and it's starting to affect the revenue from his other businesses.

It's even worse. This is exactly what he wanted to do with PayPal back in the day. He seriously believes in the idea of an Everything App.

Hey, I believe in it too, because I live in a timeline where Facebook exists.

Musk manipulating stock values in a questionable way, no, he'd never do that. He's never done it before after all. /s

Good riddance. "Social media integration" just means showing favortism to the handful of platforms that are already popular (with basic bros and basic bitches) and just makes it even more impossible for anyone to compete with them. Never mind bringing back Obama-era net neutrality policies; find me an FCC chair who'll outlaw that jive!

Countdown to Elno complaining about the "WokeStation" and simultaneously announcing that within a year that "X" will be the most comprehensive interacting gaming platform in the world.
