Finished the Fishing expedition in No Man's Sky, and it inspired me to add fishing bases to the list of bases I'll be making on my one-base-per-galaxy save. I'm only on 3/256 and mining bases will only get me so far before I'd just be making generic outposts. Also turns out the Octopus bobblehead takes priority for the cockpit over Polo, which fits really well for my living ship save! (less so for my robogek unfortunately)

The Three of Tails card should be underway soon - the artist already has an idea, just waiting for the initial sketch
Also pretty much caught up on Guild Wars 2 - just a handful of things to do that give concrete progress right now.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

I just used the compressor to blow the dust and cat hair out of my computer, keyboard and mouse. Noisy, mildly heavy, but very satisfying.

I finally got all the Necrom/Galen dungeon Antiquities leads in Elder Scrolls Online(minus the one that requires the secret boss in a DLC dungeon, not that worried about that one) - I'd been trying on and off for a couple of those for a while, with no luck.

My wife surprised me by taking me to a sushi restaurant for our sort-of-belated 7th wedding anniversary. They had an all you can eat lunch special, and it was delicious!
If you are ever in North Liberty, Iowa, check out Izumi sushi & hibachi restaurant!

I brought in some boxes from my garage today just so I could say I did something on my vacation. I found a lot of stuff I thought I lost! Ghost Buster toys, Skylynx, Bravestar gun, D&D dice and minis...a few swimsuit issues...Clue board, Labyrinth game...

I found a treasure trove.

I guess you didn't find the "One piece?"

I recognize an Anime title, but it's not an anime I've watched. So I'm afraid I don't get the full reference.

The One piece is the legendary tresure within the series left by the Pirate King Gold Roger and people from across the world are trying to find this hidden tresure to become the next Pirate King, some twenty years later and 1125 chapters of manga, plus 1119 eps of anime, (excluding films) and a live action TV show, we still have no clue what the One piece is exactly as its the series main underlying mystery, but its more about the adventure than the mysteries, I know its hard for anyone to get into the anime, but there is a remake in the works and on Netflix there is a live action show that covers most of the first saga of the series, being a bit of a loose adaption of it and some point next year (maybe), it has a second season coming out! What gets a lot of people is the back stories of a lot of characters as Oda can make you really feel for them, but what has helped One piece keep going is the fact there is no central base for the cast, as its a sailing adventure series with some crazy powers, anyway, for a newcomer, it would be best to start with the live action series and if you feel like going on a grand adventure, check out the anime or manga

Mercy was not dispensed at work today, only Straxus.

Also the khajit dancer statue I'd been waiting for months for to finish a gaming hall I was making in ESO finally was available today, so I was able to swap that in and finally open it up(and got a fancier glowing fountain for it as a bonus)

This was more of a "night before last" bit of happiness, but anyway...

Air Canada found our lost luggage!

We got it back 45 days after it was lost, we'd given up hope, and they said we should give them an itemized list (which, we would discover, was missing a good few things. Remember to take notes of what's packed where before flying, kids!).

45 days, and about 45 minutes past the appointed four-hour delivery window, I should add.

But everything seems to be intact! My Mega Man 11 model kit box has seen better days, but otherwise...

If you think air canada is making a big effort to find lost luggage... or even to make sure it gets on the right plane in first place: you'd be wrong.

45 days, that silly, but then the fact they "lost" your luggage, it seems rather fishy if you ask me
I hear they're having work shortages or some-such. Nearly had a strike.

I think they made a bigger effort once they saw how much stuff we had in there and what the values are.

Just to replace the shoes was borderline $300 now.

(I got them as a gift. I think they were less when they were first released, but now...)
