Makes me glad I got out of retail and into a quasi-municipal job back in 2023. Feel for those who will inevitably suffer through it, though. A lot of people who voted against Trump will be affected as well, so I can't bring myself to laugh about it.

I couldn't watch it. I jumped out after less than 5 minutes of his speech. The man is repulsive and his speaking style is both boring and horrifying. I still can't see how he can enthrall people the way he does.
Some good news, though, for the first time since his inauguration he's underwater in the polls according the the 538 aggregate. With any luck maybe people really are waking up this time.

I didn't bother watching. But I did see a clip of Rep Greene being ordered to stand down and then removed. Anyone else catch Donald's face while that was happening? The sheer amount of smug satisfaction? hug, he probably had more of an erection than he's had in a goddamn decade.
That kind of protest does nothing but feed him. I think a better tactic in the future would be to simply not show up or turn your back. Deliberately ignore him, dismiss him, act as if he's not even there. And watch him lose his ******* mind.

Yeah, the Democrats have NO idea how to properly protest. Their half-hearted attempts last night were almost as embarrassing as Trump himself.
And the one guy that did make a visible show: got ejected. democrats missed a huge opportunity there, and it would have gotten them out of listening to trump.
