As Axios reported on Sunday, the ex-president’s vision for a second round in the White House would “give him, as president, more control of virtually every facet of life in America” and “represent an unprecedented power grab by the executive branch—driven by far-right conservatism and Trump’s grievances.” In addition to giving himself the power to fire scores of career employees simply for supposedly being disloyal or “question[ing] his conduct,” Trump plans to:

• Fire officials who accredit universities—who he believes are part of the “radical left”—“reward states and school districts that abolish teacher tenure for grades K–12,” and scrap diversity, equity, and inclusion programs (like his pal Ron DeSantis)
• “Defund” the Department of Justice (which just happens to be running a pair of criminal investigations into his handling of classified documents and his attempt to overturn the 2020 election) and replace “Marxist prosecutors” with Trump-friendly conservatives
• Investigate hospitals to see if they have “deliberately covered up horrific long-term side effects of ‘sex transitions’” and kick hospitals and health care providers off of Medicaid and Medicare for even just offering gender-affirming care to minors
• Deploy the military to go after street crime
• Get rid of an Obama-era rule requiring local governments to do something about poverty and residential segregation in order to receive federal housing grants

And these are just the plans we know about. Oh yeah, and as he indicated during the CNN town hall, he will not accept the presidential election results—again—unless he wins.
