Since when has Hasbro cared about scale regarding their Beast Machines toys?
Okay, I am seriously impressed here.
With his design? A core class BM Cheetor will probably look eye-to-eye with Legacy Galvatron.Weird decision to make the tallest Maximal in Beast Machines a tiny Core class figure, though.
And now that they've done Nemesis, the board is clear for Titan class Nightscream.
Pics aren't mine and the original set didn't seem to feature the correct alt mode either.Okay, I am seriously impressed here.
I thought Orion Pax was just a simple recolor/remold from Hound, but to turn from a green jeep into a red and blue robot? Now that is some genius engineering! You can't even see the other mode's colors in either form!
Armada Megs was a great toy and the knife was perfect. The final scene between him and OP in the show more than justified it as-is.I blame the joyless grumpy people who derided Armada back in the day. People actually complained about the knife not being very impressive looking.
Being impressive wasn't the point. The point was that Armada Megatron never runs out of weapons. Just when you think he's out of ammo- *stab*
Only thing to come close since was Titans Return. You can quibble over articulation or screen accuracy; but Armada was the most “fun” toyline we’ve ever gotten.
I will die on that hill.
Seeing it in action, this is pretty clever: this one, single Jolt isn't too yellow for Hot Shot, and not too red for Powerlinx Hot Shot, since he falls in the middle. From the front page!
In Hand Pictures Of Upcoming Legacy Jolt With Legacy Hotshot!
With the reveal of the Powerlinx Hotshot at SDCC, if you are curious to what Jolt looks likewww.allspark.com
It's because Jolt was colored orange-ish in the cartoon, so Hasbro opted for show-accuracy.Seeing it in action, this is pretty clever: this one, single Jolt isn't too yellow for Hot Shot, and not too red for Powerlinx Hot Shot, since he falls in the middle.
And I don't say that just because I love orange.
Energon's up there, too, IMO-- mix-and-match Autobot combiners, Decepticons with ridiculous flipout weapons, and the Energon weapon/5mm business. You can quibble over articulation or screen accuracy; but Armada was the most “fun” toyline we’ve ever gotten.
I will die on that hill.
Personally, I like the red Hotshot better, and much rather have the extra guns and blast effects. Mainly because I am planning on making a TF diorama soon, and those will come in extra handy.Idk, much as I like having Jolt in an all new color, I still would've preferred getting two Jolts (one red, one yellow) packed in, even if it meant not getting the guns and blast effects. That might have gotten me to backtrack and get regular Hot Shot.
