Literally why though.

At this point IDK how what you're doing isn't just considered spamming.

Have there been any rumors about a non-comic edition, general retail Straxus? I want to get him, but I could really do without the comic shading dots. At least they aren't nearly as obtrusive as the shading on Shockwave and Grimlock, but I'd still be tempted to hold out if I knew there was another version coming.

Nope. Not in any of the leeks or rumors that have come to light through 2025.

-ZacWilliam, I think it's unlikely myself. Not impossible but he's pretty obscure and the non exclusive lines are probably full. I'd say this is probably it.

FWIW, I understand the desire to keep the discussions of separate toylines separate, but when it comes to the SS86 figures, they kind of only exist in Studio Series to make room for figures that aren't 85-86 G1 dudes in the Legacy line. Does it really hurt to cross-post those reveals when they happen?

I'm not sure I need SS86 Bumblebee, but if it can be retooled into Glyph and Tap-Out (or really any/every other flavor of the Cliff/Bee designs) for future Legacy, Selects (or equivalent), or capsule releases, I think it would be awesome!

Blaster would make the most sense given the comic version has history with both comic Grimlock and Straxus; plus they could give him the toy head. Also ti would fit with the theme of unconventional Marvel leaders. (Shockwave, Straxus, Grimlock all lead their various factions at one point in time, as did Blaster)

But that fist is definitely the wrong color for that.
The designers said the next figure provoked astonishment and "are you sure we can even make that?" among the team. It's not Blaster or any other typical character.

I think it will be Cosmos as Scrounge and Impactor as Flame.

The latest rumor is that the final fourth Marvel set will be a 2-pack of Xaaron and Flame, who will probably be no larger than Deluxes if they wanna keep the packaging size consistent.

Cyberverse Deluxe Megatron makes a very good Xaaron going by the many many customs. But I am struggling to come up with a good deluxe base you could retool into Flame tbh.

Guess we'll just have to be surprised.

The cables and flame-shaped cuffs all over his body would make finding a suitable mold difficult. Impactor’s the only deluxe tank currently available unless they want to dip into the weaponizers. Or Skullgrin I guess.

Straxus has a lot of upper-body retooling. Whatever mold they use for Flame as a base could have a similar amount of completely new parts.

The rumor is that Flame is apparently using the GE Megatron mold.

The 4th release is confirmed to be a 2 pack by Jtprime17 though. So maybe a Voyager and a Deluxe.

I could see that, but it'd be weird if their both Megatrons, since Xarron biggest element is that he looks like Megatron.

Here’s my view on it:
The last time we got a Straxus toy was FOURTEEN YEARS ago, and did so in conjunction in a side line released at the brand’s peak period of success. This toy is also an obscure character retooled from a soft seller in a higher level price point.

Given Hasbro‘s recent scale back on the line, I would NOT hold my breath in the hope Hasbro might do another release of Straxus, much less at mass retail.
