You'll probably get Energon Tidal Wave in Selects or Studio Series Gamer Edition Tidal Wave with the US colors.

And we're missing on an epic show, Tidal Wave, Tigerhawk, Magmatron, Vector Prime, it could have been a lot of fun.

So are they playing games with release dates again. I've got a ton of bots listed as coming Sept. 2 on Amazon preorders (Hot shot wave of Legacy as well as SS Bumblebee and Swoop). Are these supposed to be out earlier than that?

I do feel we missed out on a great story with Legacy. Junkions and Rock warriors.

Sadly, given the lack of story the fiction had for weaponziers, modulators and fossilizers, I'm not sure any Legacy fiction would have provided more stuff for Junkions and Armorizers.

And said Legacy show would have been made by the same people who made the Netflix WFCT show, which ehhh...

Now imagine if they gave it all to Amazon instead. A budget, known actors and decent writers. Picture Siege as an actual siege plot with a sub plot involving the Micromasters and Battlemasters fleeing Cybertron on Omega Supreme. Earthrise as the season 2 and 3 casts trailing the Ark and Nemesis across the cosmos battling Quintessons and Zarak. Kingdoms as a Beast Wars side story maybe with the original cast or actual soundalikes. there would be drawbacks but it could have been a blast and Legacy may have materialized.

I loved the idea of the trilogy. We normally get just a brief bit of the Cybertron War millions of years into it, then a complete jump to Earth. A whole chapter on Cybertron, then a whole chapter of the journey to Earth, then action on Earth was a novel idea. It is a shame that everything about it turned out the way it did.

My biggest regret about IDW 2.0 ending where it did is it would have been fun to have to go all the way through the cybertronian portion of the war and then have the final issue end with them crashing on Earth.

You're not going to have Titan Class Tidal Wave leading a legion of Armada Tidal Waves divided into platoons with Energon Tidal Wave platoon commanders?
If only there was a term we could use here that refers to a whole lot of something hitting something at once with great force...

...eh, I got nothin'.

I had Tidalwave arrive today, my first impressions so far, I done the base mode and the mini dark fleet with Megatron, there is a down side to combining the mini fleet to Megatron, due to the way his arms are desgined, he can barely lift the parts, coonecting is just the ports on his arms and then its not dead centre, so clearly neither bot were desgined at the same time and Tidalwave was more of a after thought, the part that goes on Megatron's back connects in three places, using the 5ml ports and there is a pair of booster shoes/gap fillers for Megatron's feet that store in Tidalwave's legs, also the domes on Tidalwave's chest can be moved to other locations as they are just connected by the port system, of course the cannons can move and also relocate to wherever you desire or be battle damage to add a blast effect.

Packing, he comes in parts, the legs connect to the torso in a similar fashion to combiner wars bots did, only on a larger scale, while the arms connect by square ports that you have to push straight into the hole and pull to get out and then parts fold away for Dark Fleet mode, I expect in due course, someone to come up with a upgrade that helps to hide the dark fleet piece that connects into the back of the robot mode as the panel doesn't fold up to cover it up and just hangs there, so I generally think the mini Dark Fleet was a after thought during the desgining process, I haven't gone for full on combined ship mode/flying/rolling battle platform or the large Dark fleet, YET, but I will in due course, the base mode, isn't to bad, kind of novel, thou the mini Dark fleet piece that connects under the leg doesn't want to stay in place properly as the joints are loose ratchets thou that is for moving the legs up and down!

Overall, so far, he pretty desent but the Mini dark fleet was clearly a after thought and I think they should try again maybe with a smaller scale Tidalwave after they done Megatron right, they almost had him if not for what they did to the shoulder pads!
