I mean, I figured; it's well reviewed, three animals turning into one robot which is a long standing fandom favorite. I want him to fill out the bad guys leader shelf, but he's been on the wishlist since he dropped.
Figures that Amazon would do the sale right after I get a car and have no money. But on the other hand the car is a Prius Prime, so if I slap one of those car sticker Autobot symbols on it I could still claim victory...?
I had a G2 Autobot logo on the hood on mine until a tree branch fell and dented the hood, so now it's back to a normal Autobrand. A Prius would make a great modern Throttlebot.
I feel like having a few visible dents would make it more credible as a G2 Autobot.
It depends where you park it, if you park it in the wrong place, Towline might come along, complaining and saying "NO parking, means no PARKING!!"
Regarding that Fractured Friendship pack, wouldn't it be wiser to call him Optimus Prime since he comes with the matrix, he's really just a matrix enhanced upgrade from the Humble Origin's Orion Pax, sort of like how it upgraded Optronix to Dreamwaves Optimus Prime in War Within.
He's just Cybertronian form Optimus Prime in my collection.
Technically, the smaller "IDW" Prime is kind of a made up figure. He was never a data archivist in IDW, and he was forged as a beefy dude, rather than getting upgraded by the Matrix.
So basically there's no physical difference between Pax and Prime in IDW, IIRC.
