Mad that we were getting G1 reissues from Tamara as early as 2001, and this is the first time Sunstreaker been reissued (albeit in modified form). Guess the moulding was that difficult to rebuild from scratch…

The first since 1990 as he (and most of the other “lost” molds) had his last hurrah as part of the Euro Exclusive Classic Heroes assortment.

I remember the gold box Classics very well! Allowed me to replace my (earlier) childhood Jazz and Inferno, buy an Ironhide and Wheeljack, among plenty of others. Never managed to find a Sunstreaker, unfortunately. I remember feeling gutted when the adverts in the Marvel UK comic switched out Sunstreaker and Wheeljack for Sideswipe and Tracks!

Yes, I think so too. I noticed that when I got mine but I've been busy at work and haven't had time/energy to update it. Apologies and I've edited my original post to reflect your observations.

Takara will be opening preorders for a silver version of their Rathalos Prime (from the Monster Hunter x crossover) onThursday, the 13th of February, 2025.

Also out for pre-order on the same day will be MPM Nucleon Quest Optimus Prime.

At Wonderfestival 2025 (At the Makuhari Messe convention centre, Chiba, Japan), a private seller has apparently been awarded one of Takara's temporary (one day) licences to sell an official BW Rattrap garage kit. The convention will take place on the 9th February and the non-transforming figure will cost around ¥7,000 (about $45 US).

There's also a rumour that another temp. official Optimus Primal and a shield garage kit might also be sold (either by the same seller or a different person) at the event.

The popular collaboration between Monster Hunter and Transformers is back!
Optimus Prime appears as a scanned version of a rare species of Rathalos. Optimus Prime transforms from "Monster Mode" based on the rare species of Rathalos motif to "Robot Mode".

In monster mode, the head, neck, wings, and legs are movable, and the mouth can be opened and closed.

In robot mode, a sword and shield can be equipped, and they can be combined to transform and combine into a large axe.
