Mad that we were getting G1 reissues from Tamara as early as 2001, and this is the first time Sunstreaker been reissued (albeit in modified form). Guess the moulding was that difficult to rebuild from scratch…

The first since 1990 as he (and most of the other “lost” molds) had his last hurrah as part of the Euro Exclusive Classic Heroes assortment.

I remember the gold box Classics very well! Allowed me to replace my (earlier) childhood Jazz and Inferno, buy an Ironhide and Wheeljack, among plenty of others. Never managed to find a Sunstreaker, unfortunately. I remember feeling gutted when the adverts in the Marvel UK comic switched out Sunstreaker and Wheeljack for Sideswipe and Tracks!

Yes, I think so too. I noticed that when I got mine but I've been busy at work and haven't had time/energy to update it. Apologies and I've edited my original post to reflect your observations.

(You don't feel like popping up a few cheeky pics from your copy though, do you?)

I took some crappy photos yesterday. None of the Trigger celebration video, which is the highlight. I particularly like the new Decepticon illustration by Hayato Sakamoto (also didn't take any photos of).
