I'm not entirely certain that the Legacy Hound mold is going to be better than what we got back in 2009. Or, at least that's how I've been feeling based on what we've seen so far.

And a better thigh swivel, too. Most of the articulation in the lower body is not in the best places. As I was fiddling with my copy over the past week, I've kinda started thinking that this Jetfire started out as a Seeker but with numerous upgrades over the years...

I was kinda surprised back in the day that it wasn't passed off as a "Super Skywarp", of sorts. It's an amazing redeco!

    Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

I really hope that the crossover ep gets rebroadcast at some point, because I want it to live on my PVR forever...or until the hard drive dies, at least.

I mean, they got it done a lot better a couple of years later with the original PMOP, and that's formed the basis for a lot of "semi truck into giant robot" combinations since

Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

Dang! I've never watched Stranger Things, but that sure is a decent looking VW vanbot.

Well, the first three are the same toy with varying levels of extra grey paint spattered on them. They also don't worth for a Earth mode based collection. The fourth one does, but can't even be the car carrier that pretty much everyone wants out of a 1980's based Ultra Magnus. Really, my take...

"Can stick 3 Deluxe cars including tracks in there plus 1 core." I kid, I kid...well, mostly. SS86 Magnus looks incredible in both modes, but that core robot matters a lot to me, dangit!

TR Megatron still remains one of my favourites. Good to see it still gets some love!

There's something about the chonkyness of the Magnus mold that's really endearing. Makes me wish I had picked up, say, Tensegrity Prime. Then I remember that the arms just hang out the back. 😕

Well, according to posts on TFW and Cybertron, the Toxitron deluxes have been spotted in Ontario Walmart's, G2 Grimlock has been purchased in Florida and Medix has hit Canadian GameStop stores. Laser Cycle and Sideswipe seem to be the shortpacked deluxes

Well, if we're talking 2006/7 molds only, this is what I have left: I've slowly been moving my pre Prime Wars figures along (the Coneheads in particular last week). Jetfire was the first figure I bought (along with Ramjet) when I got back into collecting in 2007. I keep waiting for a suitable...

Minibots, past and present. I can't help but feel that the Cliffjumper mold feels out of place these days. Everyone else since it has been made substantially larger. Beachcomber seems particularly out of whack with the rest - but it's a solid figure all the same!

Shame that there isn't a set of forks to go with the lifting mechanism, like in the concept art. I'm sure the accessories designers are hard at work on them already. Otherwise, looks good. Crashbar and Scraphook have been pretty fun (though I often keep them in combined 'bot mode). I'll be keen...

I had the Universe 2.0 Blaster redeco. I always felt mine must have been assembled wrong as I could never get it to go into alt mode properly. But I do agree that it was an interesting take that I wouldn't mind seeing explored again sometime.

    Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

Plus, episode one did get La'an back onto the canvas, which was better than her just being there with, say, a single line of dialog explaining her return. But....I kinda wish we had Pike for it, too? I dunno. That first episode had some good ideas, but I just didn't feel like it executed all...

I've heard in multiple places that Anson Mount's wife had given birth, so he took some time off to be with her (understandably!)
