Transformers Collaborative (Transformers X Star Wars: The Mandalorian)

I think this BB makes for a more successful figure than Megatron simply by virtue of not looking like a preexisting figure with a Joe vehicle chopped up and glued onto it. On the other hand, the head is the only thing remotely "Bumblebee" about this...

Transformers: Last Bot Standing - IDW Publishing comic miniseries

Bah, apparently I only preordered the first issue without subscribing to the series; didn't even realize #2 was out!
  3. Salt-Man Z

    LEGO Optimus Prime

My wife said I could order it as my wedding anniversary gift, so that's what I did! Half-tempted to get her Van Gogh's Starry Night in return...

Buzzworthy Bumblebee - the "everything goes" toyline

As with Leadfoot, it's amazing to me how a new head and color scheme make it look like such a wildly-different toy from the original.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

All the good names are taken.

    The CHUG Problem

But that is money. More transformation steps = more parts = more money.

    IDW Transformers Humble Bundle

I goofed and missed the fact that the bundle also contains Volume 3, so that's another 6 issues of the ongoing (up through #24) and the rest of the Galaxies series (up through #12). I've updated my original post as well.

    IDW Transformers Humble Bundle

This bundle contains the first 24 issues of the 2019 ongoing and all 12 issues of Galaxies. The entire reboot universe will consist of 43 ongoing issues; the Galaxies series; the Escape, Wreckers, and War's End minis, a Valentine's Special, Halloween Special, Annual, and the super-sized...

    IDW Transformers Humble Bundle

As always, I recommend buying the $1 tier first to see if the image quality meets your satisfaction. These are considerably lower-resolution than previous bundles have been, and the CBZs are slightly muddied from compression. (The PDFs are much sharper.)

    "Vintage Beast Wars" reissue line

It's weird, because the first wave (Primal, Megatron, Rattrap & Cheetor) all had fairly obvious deco differences. I personally grabbed Cheetor just to have another eye-color variant, and I was tempted to go for Megatron because of the darker purple (but couldn't justify spending 2.5x the...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Aw man, that Diaclone Twin Twist could pass for a Brazilian Salt-Man Z (orange/blue) but not my preferred version, the Argentinian yellow one...
  12. Salt-Man Z

    Transformers Legacy toyline

New Springer really needs the reds/yellows/blues from the G1 toy's decals to break up that dull monotone grey. Ideally they would have done some "sticker" tampos on his shins and shoulders; but for some reason they thought a darker-grey block was detailing enough...

Transformers: Last Bot Standing - IDW Publishing comic miniseries

Well, I was not expecting anything that I just read! Some lovely misdirection by Roche/Su. Can't wait to see where this goes.

    Daaaamm that Leadfoot is sexy!

    IDW Collection Hardcovers

If you want the entire First Strike crossover, the four other non-TF-titled one-shots are collected (along with the TF ones) in: Transformers/G.I. JOE: First Strike: Champions (First Strike one-shots for Rom, Micronauts, G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K, Optimus Prime and TF) And to be fair to The Wreckers...

    Transformers Legacy toyline

"You mean I'm not based on an '84/'85 toy? Ohgodohgodohgodohgod..."
  18. Salt-Man Z

    Transformers Legacy toyline

The comic ran from fall 1993 to summer 1994, so I guess it maybe makes sense that the new 1994 molds were the only ones that really featured. (And all the new 1994 toys did manage to appear--except for Megatron, whose Hero toy probably didn't show up on account of his big tank toy getting top...

Buzzworthy Bumblebee - the "everything goes" toyline

    I won't lie, I kinda love it.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

Bought Core class Hot Rod on a whim tonight. Got him home, opened the box... and found he was missing his weapon, presumably thanks to the completely-open-in-the-front packaging...
