    Transformers Legacy toyline

I can count on one hand the number of TFs that I've purchased for myself since Armada (discounting Playskool Go-Bots and Rescue Bots), but I just had to preorder Jhiaxus. It's the figure I've wanted for almost 30 years! I love that he gets the G2 Decepticon Cybertronian symbol.

    Holy crap dat Jhiaxus

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I always assumed Blitzwing's cockpit went in front in tank mode, mostly because I preferred his jet thrusters in the back. But a quick Google of his G1 toy packaging and instructions confirms that the cockpit does indeed go in the back!

I understand that. It's just surprising that plain old inflation only accounts for like half of the increase.

The crazy thing is, according to online inflation calculators, $5 in 1996 USD is only $9 in 2022.

Ultras being $5 more than Megas is just historically accurate! :D

Can no longer subscribe to Transformers comics via Comixology

DeDRM can be made to work with the desktop Kindle Reader program, but you have to locate and install an older version (the current one's DRM is too strong) and it sounds like you've got yourself covered anyway!

IDW to Lose the Transformers License?

The initial announcement did say things would wrap up by summer. But only 3 issues left seems crazy.

IDW to Lose the Transformers License?

Ruckley's ongoing comic will end at issue #43 on May 25, the same day that the final War's End issue comes out. Both will be "extra-long" $6 issues, to be followed up on in June by a Transformer Special 2022. Transformers #43 synopsis: War's End #4 synopsis:

DeDRM has to be set up with the serial number of the device you told Amazon your were transferring the book to, or it doesn't do anything. Calibre can't even open your AZW3 files if DeDRM isn't set up correctly. Once DeDRM is set up, and the book converted, the resulting individual images are...

Don't torture yourself: look into Calibre.

Can no longer subscribe to Transformers comics via Comixology

That is pretty much correct. Your new purchased-through-Amazon comics now show up in your Kindle Content. I imagine that the Comixology books page is merely a temporary holding area for your past purchases.

Yes, you can use the Transfer Via USB option, which gives you a DRMed AZW3 file. However, you can use the Calibre ebook management software with the DeDRM plugin to strip the DRM and convert it to a ZIP/CBZ for your own use. As for the backups (spoilered because of large image):

Transformers: Last Bot Standing - IDW Publishing comic miniseries

Dang, I was not expecting MTMTE Rodimus! I will gladly accept one last gasp of the IDWv1.0 continuity.

Transformers: Last Bot Standing - IDW Publishing comic miniseries

It would be kinda neat if this was in ReGeneration One continuity: one last adventure for Rodimus before going back to Cybertron to die.

Well, yes, if you want to pirate your comics, there are still plenty of ways to do that.

Can no longer subscribe to Transformers comics via Comixology

Yeah, I re-upped my subscription through Amazon yesterday (after initially cancelling) and today I was pleasantly surprised to see #40 with CBZ backup in my Comixology library. (I was especially surprised considering I had purchased a comic on Amazon a couple weeks ago that never showed up in my...

I haven't heard back from IDW, but after playing with things for a while, it looks like I've found a solution, though it's a little bit of a compromise: Your e-comic purchases now all show up in your Amazon digital content library (assuming you've linked your accounts; I've just always used my...
